25 years with Tex
It began in 1989. A first Tex’ game, "Mean Streets", was released. It was dark, Soviet times. No foreign game magazines were available. I didn’t know about this game.
In 1991 Soviet Power was shattered, but nevertheless game magazines were unavailable. I didn’t have any information about "Martian Memorandum".
In 1994 I bought "Under a Killing Moon". When I installed the game I found out about "Mean Streets" and "Martian Memorandum" games. I looked for them everywhere but failed.
In 1996 I bought "The Pandora Directive". When I played this game for the first time I finished at Lombard Street, "Clown" ending. I was disappointed. I played the game once more. "Holo Date" ending was funny but it wasn’t enough. I tried to find Boulevard of Broken Dreams. It was easy. I followed instruction from game manual. I was rude and selfish. I finished the game at "Death" and "Clown" endings. I was disappointed even more. I couldn't find Mission Street for a long time. In one game magazine I read only one hint about Mission Street: "If you go to "Fuchsia Flamingo" with Chelsee, you are NOT in Mission Street". It was enough and I found Mission Street. "Dinner with Chelsee" ending was real happy end!
In 1999 I bought "Tex Murphy: Overseer". I was disappointed by the ending of the game.
In 2001 I downloaded "Mean Streets" and "Martian Memorandum" from Tex related website. I liked these games and played many times.
Some time later I downloaded "Tex Murphy: Radio Theater" all 6 episodes and listened them several times. It was lovely.
Now, in 2014, "Tex Murphy: Tesla Effect" was released.
