Congrats James and Sara
I echo the above sentiment to you as well. I know of people who said their kids slep well after 6 months and such. I wondered if the kid actually did or if the parents were simply exhausted and unintentionally tuned out the middle of the night cries. Everyone is different, of course, so I do hope your child learns to sleep through soon.
Mine, however, didn't sleep through the night until well after the first year. My husband and I looked like little trolls for a while there, LOL!

You must have been very bad in a past life
Ah, well...Sodom and Gemorah was a fabulous time you know...
Seriously, my kids had alot of inner ear issues. Both ended having tubes put in their ears and tonsils removed. I chalk the lack of sleep up to them being uncomfortable/in pain and unable to communicate it (while I pulled out my hair and tried to get a doctor to actually fix the issue).
I also didn't use formula until I absolutely had to, about when my children were around 10 months of age. I think stress may have dried up the fountain.

Be careful about tubes. My daughter had about 4 sets of them and her hearing is now somewhat impaired because of them. She's not deaf or anything, but she notices, and has been told by doctors, that there is permanent damage to her eardrums.silvermitt wrote: Seriously, my kids had alot of inner ear issues. Tubes fell out long ago. Numerous doctor visits show both hear fine. Nope, the only hearing problems we have is routinely called "selective hearing". Seems to effect kids and adults. LOL!
