So what are you playing right now?

The only PC games I've bought in the last 3 years are Pacific Fighters, Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic and it's sequel, The Sith Lords.
I stopped buying FPSs after I rented Half Life. Overrated game, in my opinion. That genre's in a rut. Every time a new one comes along, I play the demo and it's always "nothing to see here, move along..." - stagnant and uninventive as ever.

We need new ideas. What happened to the innovative games of old? Did they go out of fashion or something?

Well last year i bought and played through Fear, which was an awesome experience. It says something cause i usually get bored with FPS' and am not a huge fan of the genre. I beat the game though! (i only have a track record for beating adventures and platformers usually).

Also, Prey looks good, but i doubt i'll buy it. I just bought myself a copy of Psychonauts! I've wanted to play this game for like 8 months!

Well, my favorite action game is still Max Payne 2, even after newer, larger megasequels with better graphics. Max Payne 2 is the only one of those that I replayed to the nth degree, while still rewatching the cutscenes as well, sometimes.

But yeah, it does seem like they're not trying anymore. I tried the demo of Prey, which I thought was cool, though simple. But really, the last truly innovative fps game I played would have had to be the chronicles of riddick. That game was cool.

I finished playing these days Shadow of Rome for ps2. The most violent game I ever played and I one I didn't give much credit for, but by the end of it I was addicted as I had not been for a long time.
The best game from Capcom I ever played. Both thumbs up.

I'm in an odd state of computer games/video games right now. Due to working for three companies, I don't get much time to give to digital entertainment; but I'm currently working on Haunting Ground for PS2, as well as playing through Final Fantasy VIII for the second time. The only thing I'm really using my computer for recreationally at this time is an ocassional dose of Sims2.

Anyone heard of it? It looks pretty amazing. I'll probably start it in the next few days.

Any feedback before I invest a big chunk of my time?

Cool game, Jennifer. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

You're playing a game called life?

I've tried that game. It's pretty boring. The graphics are pretty good, but the story seems to be going nowhere fast. And the acting is just awful. You have to wonder who writes the dialogue for that stuff. I can't seem to find the credits, so I'll just have to assume Uwe Boll had his hand in it somewhere along the line.
