Newbie - checking in to say THANK YOU
I'm a long time Tex Murphy fan. Recently I decided I wanted to play UAKM, PD and TMO again. I have an old PC with Win 95 which runs UAKM and PD just fine. I had so many problems with TMO I gave up.
I checked the 'net to see if other Tex fans were still around and found this board. After reading many notes I learned how to run TMO on my XP. I've just finished the game and I came here to say thanks to you all.
BTW, I couldn't run TMO from the DVD no matter what I did. It doesn't matter though because I used the CDs and it worked perfectly.
I'm not very computer savvy and so I can't be much help to anybody else except to say "be patient". The answers are all here on this board and if you persist you will find them. Yay! Tex Murphy still lives!
