Would you say it is worth 20 bucks??? Because that's all they want for it over at my local GameStop Store...
The best advise I can give is: Buy Dracula 3- I´d say the gameplay is on the same level but Dracula3: Path of the Dragon scores wherever Origin fails- D3 has got a wonderful story , a stunning atmosphere and unlike Origin it really feels like a Horrorgame.

Something tells me the Requirements for that one are gonna be quite high... I checked out the requirements for Origin... Those I can handle, didn't even think to ask about Dracula 3, because You hadn't really talked about it until now... Is it out now as well???

I don´t know when it will be released in the USA, the preview version was a full english version, so it´s probably out in britain, it´s a french game and over there it was released a couple of months back.
System requirements:
I don´t know them but like I said about all other current adventure games: Its an adventure so it´s gonna have low requirements.
Every 2D/ 2.5 D adventure has got low requirements, dosen´t matter what it is. Dracula3 is in 3D which normally needs more power, BUT it´s not full freedom of movement like in the Tex games, you can look around in 360° but you can´t move the character, you always click from one screen to the next without any movement scenes, so the requirements are gonna be decent just like pretty much most other new adventure games.

Right and in case it doesen´t have an american publisher yet, you still have the option to buy the best game of all time

Which you should do , no matter if D3 has an american publisher or not
Cheers

Cool.

There is a package called Gabriel Knight mysterys by the way it contains 7 cds ( Gk1 has one 1 CD , GK2 has six) , so it is GK1 and 2plus the soundtrack by Robert Holmes.
You´re gonna love em, there were some good adventures over the last years but personally to me none of them came even nearly close to the GK games. The first 2 games really are my definition of what an adventure CAN be, but normally isn´t. Especially when it comes to real storytelling, atmosphere , depth, character development, soundtrack , .
I know I said that before, but as soon as I start talking about GK I just can´t stop praising these games , but you knew that already.

I really think Jane Jensen should hire me as her PR guy

I'm sure you would do her Justice for sure... We need to get her and Aaron together, I think...

Now that would be a dreamteam for sure. Jane Jensen is my nr.1 author for adventure games and aaron follows on nr.2 .
That combination would really make the "rest of the field" look like bloody beginners ( Ok they even manage to do that on their own individually).
Can´t wait for Gray matter. I will be at the Games Convention in late August (for 4 days) doing interviews, collecting articlematerial about new adventures , playing new previews, and other stuff for our site. That is one of the biggest computer messes in the world and even though it will be some weeks until the lineup will be presented, we also expect Jane to be there once again, in that case I´ll do the interview, let´s see what I can get out of her concerning Gray matter.

Any details concerning the Release of the Game would be nice... You really pissed me off bringing my attention to it and then it gets ranked and delayed, not to mention it's been in the "Release" Stage for 5 years now... lol Everything I've read and seen on it makes me want to play it...

I surely won´t get any exclusive info on a releasedate
But the Gamesconvention is the place for announcements ( This was the place where Jane first did a press conference on Gray matter in 2006 after teaming up with DTP) and since Germany is the biggest adventure market anyway and its a german publisher it would make sense .
Until now all we know is that the game will definately be released in 09, but at some point they will go into detail of course, when in 09 that will be. But i´m pretty sure you can expect it to be released in the first half of 09, since a big part of the game was already finished after DTP changed the developer and they only had to pick up on where the old developer stopped ( plus of course it needs some time to get everything restructured and make the new team familiar with everything). But that developer Wizarbox did something like that before for DTP, things went down really fast, so it looks good.
Despite the Gamesconvention we´re still waiting for another Jane Jensen interview we´ve done ( In form of sending in questions) a WHILE back. We heard it was answered some months back but now we have to wait until DTP finally unlocks its Graymatter policy that occured because of all the problems with the old developer.
