I meant that as more of a tease than a spoiler. I'm careful to be vague.

I have not watched and so far don't plan to watch this show. But I have fun imagining what a 1950's TV viewer would think of it.

Not a most thrilling episode... Rather boring actually... I'm not liking the path they are taking with this... All One Episode focused here, then All One Episode focused here... I prefer it if they split it up... At least until the two merge...

Not really sure what to make of Merle at this point... I already knew I wasn't gonna like this governor character or the town... It's about what I expected, a dictatorship of sorts...

I do have to say, I rather liked his wall of Life-Like Portraits at the end of the show...

I wouldn't go so far as to call it boring.

Maybe boring as compared to other episodes in Season 3, but compared to lots of them in Season 2, it was still a great episode.

Some of the ones in Season 2 were definitely boring.
I am sure this episode was setting up things to come, so I overall say it was good.

It wasn't the most exciting episode, but I think it was necessary to set up things for the rest of the season.

I'm all for the Informative and Setting Up episodes... I just feel that they dragged it out a bit and ran long in spots they could have either cut out or had better scenes with...

Another thing I don't get with this guy playing the Governor... I don't see what is so imposing about him... Especially to someone like Merle... I mean Merle backed right down against this guy and I just don't get the Alpha Male feeling from him... But to read around the web, everyone is loving him... I've gone against the masses most of my life, so I guess that's why I'm seeing it differently...

I think Andrea might be falling for him, but I think she'll choose Michonne... Another character I'm not all too pleased with, but again, she is apparently a widespread fan favorite...
I still wish they had shown Carl clear out the 2 Walkers in the Infirmary... I wanna see Carl kick some ass...

I think there is a lot more to the Governor than we know.

There seems to be a reason why Merle is afraid of him... and I am sure this will become apparent later on.

You aren't the only one Baf that thought WTF, when Merle reacted that way.

The Governor strikes me as a deep character, that is shrouded in mystery.

It's not a "They" thing, it is a "Him" thing... HE is keeping the heads...

I don't care what he is shrouded in... I don't get the Alpha Male feel from him and I see no reason why he shouldn't have been overthrown by now... Anyone is capable of putting a bullet in him no more than he did to that Military guy running away...

I don't know... They're gonna have to do some real work to make me think otherwise about him... So far I'm in no way impressed with the character or the guy portraying him...

I think Mr. Governor is actually scared of Merle, especially if Merle and his brother were to be reunited... The exchange on top of the Cargo Container had tons to say... Merle asserted a bit of dominance and the Governor didn't counter him and then when Merle said he would go alone, the Governor obviously couldn't allow that to happen so he then offered to go with him when he realized Merle wasn't showing signs of backing off...

Lost 2 Veterans tonight... T-Dog and then Lori, and Carol is missing in action... Can't believe that they had Carl put her down... But I guess having the Flashback of his father's speech made it seem more appropriate...
This is really going to hollow Rick out...

I personally think the Governor wanted to go with him, so he could kill him when he wasn't paying attention.

He seems to peg anyone off that is a threat.
I don't see him succeeding.

Exactly, which is why I said I think he Fears Merle... Which is why it puzzles me that Merle backed down the way he did that first time around...

Merle wants to go out and look for Daryl... Daryl will be making a Supply Run next episode... I wonder if they'll meet up next week {or if they'll just miss one another or something}...

Now I am wondering if Lori is really dead, as FX channel in australia who gives up walking dead asked on facebook did we think she was dead!

scrap that just read an interview where she said she was killed off.

Well let us see... Maggie sliced Lori open without any medical training or medical supplies... She passed out and stopped breathing... Then Carl Shot her... Then Maggie and Carl came out with the baby, they didn't say anything like "Quick we have to get back to Lori"...
Why would anyone think that she wasn't dead???

Okay, even if Carl hadn't shot her and just shot the gun off instead and she had passed out from shock, but was still breathing, the fact that no medical supplies were used in a C-Section Delivery should be reason enough to assume she died... The blood loss would have just been too great, especially since they didn't rush back in to save her... So if Carl didn't shoot her in the head, the best we could expect would be a Lori Zombie...

But no, just like you read, I saw the interview where they said she was done... Just didn't expect these kinds of deaths this early in the season, let alone in the same show together... Must be some really great things to come...

I'm guessing that the Prison will be completely clear of Zombies in the next couple of episodes, because Rick is likely to go on a Zombie Rampage... lol

It's Carol I'm wondering about at this point... She ran out the door when T-Dog sacrificed himself for her to escape and we haven't seen her since...

I think she made it.

She might be the one that runs into Merle.

But who knows.
