Last film I seen ... Day of the Dead

Nothing that will totally blow the mind, but I think it had some good parts. Having one of the zombies be a good guy because he was a vegetarian was lame, but whatever. These zombies were fast .. and brutal. No slow walking here folks, more like 28 days later zombies, but all hyped up on crack. Funny thing was I watched Aliens vs. predator about a day before this, and now certain parts of both movies I think happened in the other for some reason. Now I'm forever going to confuse the two.
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
Last film(s) I saw:
I went to see Forbidden Kingdom last night. It is a Chinese film with Jet Li and Jackie Chan.
A little bit like the Kung Fu version of a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. A teenager from modern-day Boston gets transported back 13th century China to fulfill a prophecy. Jackie Chan is great as Jackie Chan and Jet Li is great as Jet Li. The movie was somewhat predictable, funny, beautiful and had lots of great KungFu.

Tonight, I saw Deception with Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor. This was a dark, sexy thriller. Very sexy, very dark and a Hitchcock-like plot. That is: a mild-mannered, regular guy gets involved/manipulated into events that are way over his head. Highly recommend. Jackman is positively evil in this one. McGregor is his usual likable self. Features Charlotte Rampling in a small role and a new girl on the block (at least I never saw her before) Michelle Williams.
Not yet, Baf. Been VERY busy lately. Will be moving in the next two weeks, involved in a huge project at work, etc.

Tell us more Jimmy Joe. Whatcha doing? Where are you moving to?
I agree with Jen, I want to know more... You're Moving??? By choice I hope... I've been watching people move due to this housing BS going on right now... Sad that so many people are unable or unwilling to do the Big S nowadays... Big S meaning SAVE...

So, if you'll forgive my stupid question, but since I'm fairly new here I don't know... What do you do for work??? And can you give us a heads up on your project???

Jim telling about his big project would be sort of like Hamm Underwood telling Tex about the Eddie Ching's security system.
hmmm

Give me a minute I weighing the options...

Okay, I like Jim more than Tex liked Hamm, so I still wanna know...

Speaking of Vampire Movies, I watched both of the John Carpenter's Vampire movies... Not a bad take on Vampire movies... Jon Bon Jovi isn't an actor though... The lead character for Los Muertos could have been done a lot better than Jovi...

Now John Carpenter's first Vampires with James Woods, that was a good Vampire movie... Much better Acting and just a better story all around... Thomas Ian Griffith did a great Vampire, and then there is Sheryl Lee, she is just good to look at, though she is a decent actress as well, Baldwin wasn't too bad in it, even though he is one of the lesser talented of the brothers...

IRON MAN!!!
Oh man, what a cool movie. Words cannot express how cool this movie was!
You have got to see it for yourself.

Throughout the whole movie I kept thinking to myself, "Man this is a cool movie!...Wow, this is a cool movie!...Oh my God, this is a cool movie! This is a COOL movie!"

So, that's my review. I don't want to spoil any of the fun. There's lots of fun.

One more thing. Make sure you stay 'till the end of the credits. There is a significant after-credits scene.

Also, before the movie there were newer, longer trailers for Batman and Indiana Jones.
Now John Carpenter's first Vampires with James Woods, that was a good Vampire movie...
One of my all-time favorites. I never get tired of watching it. Must have seen it at least twenty times. James Wood's character is simply off the charts. What a dude! And I loved the Jeep and the high-tech cross-bows.
Not moving far but to a little bigger house. Move is good for us. We will spend most of the weekend packing, unpacking, loading and unloading. Don't look forward to it, but it must be done.

I work with my son and sister in the security business selling alarm and camera systems. We also provide a security mobile patrol for a couple of exclusive neighborhoods in Detroit. Well, we started the patrol in the Historic Boston-Edison area and these people are signing up in droves! Wow! Been soooo busy lately.

Thank you for asking, Jen and Baf and the Doc.

Kewl... Good luck with the move... May none of your breakables break... lol

Okay Doc, only per your advice will I sit through Iron Man, because I am in NO WAY a Downing Fan...

The Superhero movie I want to see is Hancock {Will Smith}...

I think this is going to be Hilarious...

Or maybe it's a Tex-like smokescreen! I can hear Tex now. . .

"Yeah, I'll be moving on soon. Got this big project I'm working on. Very important client, but really wants to keep it quiet and out of the papers, you know, so I really can't say much. . ."
Never too late for coffee, never too early for beer.
The other night I watched Black Hawk Down on blu-ray. What a masterpiece! I saw it originally when it first came out, this is the first time I have seen it since then and it has not lost its charm. Well directed, brilliantly performed and places the audience amongst the action. It never lets up. Such a terrific film, i've never felt so sympathetic toward the United Nations.
