You have just explained the driving mechanism of The Walking Dead. Meaning, seeing how many wringers Rick can be put through.

Not true... Yes I know Rick seems to be considered the main focus of the story right now, but I've seen it from different angles... Last season it was more of seeing what Carol went through, considering she is the one who lost a daughter... Before that it was Andrea with losing her sister...
I have to respectfully disagree about Rick being the sole driving mechanism...

Still can't wait to see how he handles it come Sunday... I'm also interested to see how responds to finding out that it was Carl who put the bullet in her head afterwards... First Shane now his Mother... That kid has some demons running around in there to be sure...

I can see him being the driving mechanism should Rick eventually die.

I didn't say Rick was the sole driving mechanism. I said the mechanism was seeing how many wringers he can be put through.

Rick's current wringer wasn't touched upon a whole lot in this episode... He did go on the Zombie rampage like I thought though, but then again who wouldn't have...

At first I thought, when he picked up the bullet, that Carl didn't shoot Lori and that Rick would have to put her down, but then when I saw the Walker the blood trail led to I could tell that she had been eaten instead... Rick didn't seem to take too kindly to that... To go through all that to find her body so he could carry it out only to find no body...

Speaking of Bodies, I don't recall ever seeing Carol bit or seeing her body, yet she has a Grave... Can anyone explain that to me???
We were however given signs that she probably isn't dead, in the scenes from the next episode, because has they are going through some halls they come across dead Walkers and Daryl pulls a knife out of one of their heads and says that it's Carol's...
I'm just kind of curious as to why they suspected her to be dead and how they mistook whatever it was they mistook for her body...
I liked T-Dog and his character should have been a bit more vocal... They closed him off too much and now they've killed him off... Shame...

I was waiting to see if the Governor was one of those types... Seems he is similar to Hershel and things one day there will be a cure, so he is keeping his Daughter around so he can bring her back when that day comes...
Andrea seems to be kind of upset that she didn't leave with Michonne when she had the chance... lol
Andrea also seems to be losing her fan base... When I go around to places where people can post, I see a lot of negative remarks where she is concerned... If this continues we might see he killed off {whether it is in the comics or not}...

Seems like there will be a fight between Michonne and Merle next Episode... Will be exciting to see who wins if it is let go the distance and no one else interferes... I doubt either of them will die though... Wouldn't want to see that anyway... I like Merle, he's that type of character you need, keeps everyone else on their toes... No I don't like Michonne, but I like what she brings to the story right now, so no I don't want to see her dead, yet anyway...

I kind of wish they had given Daryl and Maggie a bit more action to deal with, but otherwise a pretty good episode... Glenn and Maggie will be going to town next time, so maybe they'll have some action...

Carol is missing and presumed dead by the group, but the show hasn't showed what happened to her.

That much is obvious... I just don't feel they should have dug a grave for her... T-Dog was understandable, they had a body, Lori was understandable, they assumed there would be a body to go reclaim, but Carol's grave doesn't make sense... There was absolutely no proof of her not having made it and being hidden somewhere... If I were a member of the group I wouldn't have let them jump to conclusions like that...
I mean if that is their line of thinking how come they haven't dug a grave for Andrea???

Scenes for the next show seem to suggest that she is alive, or at least was for awhile... We'll have to wait and find out...

What I don't get is: They had 9 months to go out and find baby formula. It's not as if the baby just popped in out of nowhere. I guess that's probably why the trip to get the formula was uneventful. Because if anybody actually died as a result of that trip, there would've been hell to pay! Haha

Oh I wasn't saying someone should have been hurt or died... Just wish there had been a bit more action other than a poor little possum being killed for dinner... lol
Wouldn't have minded seeing a couple of Zombie Babies in the cribs either...

Now that could have been a kewl way for Lori to die... Have the baby die in the womb, but come back as a Crawler {aka Walker} and then have it claw its way out of her... But then the baby would have died as well and we wouldn't have a baby to worry about now...

Speaking of the baby... I'm not too sure it's going to survive long, not unless they do some sort of Time Warp and jump us X years into the future, but in order to do that, Carl is going to have to hit a nice growth spurt or they're gonna have to replace him with another actor... I mean he is right around the age where boys change a lot in a matter of months sometimes, to say nothing of years... So in order to grow the baby up Carl would have to change dramatically... And since they already gave us a mini-time warp, I don't see them doing it again... So I just don't think the baby is going to last very long...

Which {and you should like this Fred} will be another Wringer that Rick is put through... lol

I think this junk with the Phone was stupid and uncalled for, but I guess they needed to fill up time for whatever reason...

The hunt for Michonne was pretty kewl, as was her putting them in their place... lol

Not kewl that Merle took Glenn and Maggie prisoner though...

Not really a whole lot to talk about from this episode... Besides the fight with Merle and Michonne {and I give the win to Michonne by the way}, and then Glenn/Maggie being taken hostage, it was kind of a dead episode...
We had a lot of time wasted with the Phone stuff, but I guess they needed to show us that Rick was getting his head straightened out... Also there were more commercials in this episode than usual...

I think there is one more Episode before the Holiday Break... I do hope that IMDB is just incomplete, otherwise there are only 10 episodes for this season, which will really suck...

I just get frustrated when two people holding guns, who both obviously dislike the person they are pointing the guns at, can't seem to drop a man who hasn't even drawn his weapon when he twitches to reach for it.

I think there are 16 episodes this season.

When we found out about the phone calls, I found myself saying, "that's not believable". Then I remembered that I was watching a show about zombies. Still, maybe not my favorite part. But, I guess it's to show that Rick is losing it. I assume Hershel is figuring out that Rick is losing it, but doesn't want to let the group know yet.

I'm assuming that Merle meant to miss when he shot. (I still don't know why they couldn't hit him.) If Merle had killed Maggie and Glen, then he wouldn't have a way of tracking down where there camp is. (Although maybe he's a good tracker like his brother.)

Anyway, it should be an interesting next few episodes.

Yeah I was really taken back they let Merle get the drop on them like that... I kind of expect Michonne to jump out and yell for them not to trust him, but she didn't...
Not going to be a good showdown unless Rick and the group can find themselves a nice arsenal somewhere... Woodbury definitely has them outgunned, as well as outnumbered...

I think Rick is fine now... I think he worked out his demons with the phone... Hershel will probably have a conversation with him about that later, but I don't think Rick is losing it anymore...
I know that in the comics it was suppose to last a lot longer than it did, but like you said, it was kind of unbelievable and whatnot, so I would guess they felt the need to shorten it up, but at the same time felt the need to keep it in the story...
When he came back and picked up the baby, that told me that he put his demons to rest over the people they've lost... I could be wrong, but I think Rick is back on the level... And if he isn't Michonne's story and news of Glenn and Maggie will certainly straighten him out for a little while...

Certainly hope we don't lose Maggie or Glenn... But after losing T-Dog and Lori, that tells us that no one is safe...
