You can Download it from this site... There is a $9.99 option {download version} and a 19.95 DVD option, but make sure your DVD can play the Format that it is currently in... They suppose to release another Format that can play on all DVD Players

I went to that site and was browsing around on it and stumbled onto a video and note about a Chris Jones who died in a racing accident I believe. My gosh is this the same Chris Jones that is Tex Murphy!!!!!!!!!! I am astounded but could not find any note that talks of the Tex Murphy Chris Jones in past tnese so am puzzled.

No it isn't the Same Chris Jones... I had to do some looking to find what you were talking about... The closest thing I came up with was a 23 year old baring the same name died in a Racing Accident...

Gotta be careful, rumors like that start and watch out... lol

Am so gald you replied - was sure it was not true or must be a different Chris Jones but then nowadays with things going so wrong sometimes re rumors, facts, PC glitches etc. - one never knows. But when I did further searching could not find anything that talked about the Tex Murphy Chris in the past tense. So was sure I was on the right track in thinking this was a different man.

You are right - if one were more of a flibbety gibbet type person, one could start a rumor riot and bring down the house. :0)

Same thing happen to the Comedian Sinbad... Someone posted something some where about him having a heart attack and died... He had to hold a Press Conference to get people to understand and believe he was alive...


hmmm, Though a Death rumor of Aaron or Chris or both, then the Resurrection that they aren't... Could be some Good Publicity there... lol

Seems to me I remember that story about Sinbad, a comedian whom I like a lot. Wish he were around more. Have not seen for a long long time. And to be really underhanded and immoral, if someone reported AC and CJ dead, then we all could ask for donations for another Tex game in their memory, and after the money rolls in, the game accomplished - oops sorry that was all rumor. Tsk tsk, the lengths some people can conjure up to get another Tex game in the making! <:0)

I don't think you could quite go to those extremes... No one would donate for more Tex games if the Creators of the games are no longer living either... If you take a look around this message board, you will notice that very few if any would want someone other than Chris to play Tex... We just don't want another person, no one could bring to life the character like he has... Those shoes could not be filled no matter what actor you cast for the role...

I remember that rumor about Sinbad dying...and how he held a press conference...turns out, He had to let everyone know that he was still alive, but, in fact, his career had died.

Just had my ID stolen and am still awaiting results of that. Seems some employee of the credit card company took all the info of hundreds of credit cards and sold them. So was not alone in the theft. Takes a lot of work to keep ahead of people seeking to use the info though. Am now casting about for the best ID theft insurance - anyone had ID stolen experience or a good insurance against same.

Sorry, no dice on the ID thingy... They have several different programs you can pay monthly for that are suppose to stop people from using your ID...

The best cure for ID Theft, is to have an Identity that no one would want...

I loved George Carlin - don't see him much anymore. Wonder what happened to him. So far no big issue re stolen credit card info - but on the lookout continually. Thanks for good wishes. Say where are you? Today it was so warm had to leave all the doors oen, start the ffans going. Weird weather.

Sitting in Maryland... Can't say it was warm enough for all that... The weather bounces around depending on where you live... If you are on the borderline of that Jet Stream then you can be 20 degrees one day and 60 the next...
