Damn, Fred ... born on a Friday the 13th and just recently you had your 666th post! I wonder what will happen next
Anyway - it's getting closer and closer to my 27th birthday now - dang - has it really been that long now? I still feel much younger than that.
I still remember my 25th birthday where I got lots of cinnamon on me - both powdered and in sticks. It's a Danish tradition just like when one turns 30 he/she gets pepper. Is that also a tradition in Norway, Fred? Have you got cinnamon?

No cinnamon. But receiving pepper on your 30th is a tradition widespread in Scandinavia to the best of my knowledge; based on if you're not married by the age of 30 you receive a large peppershaker, signifying you as a person who's going to probably going to stay single forever.
I believe the scandinavian word for it is Peppermø.
(Means pepper-virgin, if my translationskills are up to spec)

Happy birthday there Fred!
Sorry I missed it. I sometimes sprint through here looking at stuff, and I missed this ...
But anyhoo, hope you don't get a peppershaker in a five years! (I should have been given one long ago. I sealed my fate long ago when I just quit looking. )
