CAPRICORNs Demise...
Cub: Yes, I know the character's name is Lucas Pernell in the novel, but wasn't it still in the Pandora Directive novel that he and Tex met - just like in the PD-game when it was Lucia Pernell and Tex who met to talk about the Black Arrow Killer. I don't seem to remember Lucas being in the UAKM novel.

You're right! I forgot about that. Also, Dr. Paul, the countess Renier was not a real person, it was the Chameleon in disguise.
I can't remember if there were any 'rules' about the Chameleon's power. For instance, if he must touch the person he imitates, or something like that. If that were the case, then there would have to have been a real Princess Renier, or someone with Wanda Peck's body, in order for him to impersonate her. But I have no reason to believe such is the case.
If it is the case, the Chameleon may have, at one time, made physical contact with Wanda. Although he made up the Princess Renier character, here body was based on Wanda Peck's.
Hmm... I seem to be obsessing over Wanda Peck. Anyone else have that problem?
Ha Ha ~ I think Tex woulda recognized the countess as Wanda if that were the case doc - but we're naturally reading into this far too much - fact is, the boys at Access most likely needed an actress for Wanda and recalled a striking personality from UKM already familiar with working with them.
