What would a list of quotes on a Tex Murphy board be without something from a Bogart movie?

Lauren Bacall to Humphrey Bogart in 'To Have and Have Not':

"You know how to whistle, don't you? You just put your lips together, and blow."

"It's a 106 miles to Chicago, we have a half a tank of gas, a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses." Elrod Blues
"Hit it." Jake Blues

How about one of the most famous mis-quoted lines of all time? From the Treasure of the Sierra Madre (another Bogart movie):

Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.

(The actual line from the film is slightly different, but this is how everybody quotes it.)

I used to use this on in my signature:
"No matter where you go, there you are." -- The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension

Other faves:

"Your mother was a hamster, and your father smelled of elderberrys." Monty Python and the Holy Grail

"You will be. You will be." Yoda, after Luke says he's not afraid, in Star Wars

Are you gonna bark all day, little doggy? Or are you gonna bite?

Oh man, I shot Marvin in the face.

I don't have a pot to piss in, or a window to throw it out of. All I got is f***in' Floyd.

Hey Gary! "No matter where you go, there you are" was also used by Pig Killer in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

Speaking of Empire Strikes Back, another good one from our buddy Darth Vader to Lando Calrissian when Lando complained of DV changing the deal. "Perhaps you feel you're being treated unfairly?" I mean, how do you answer such a question? Lando said it best: "No!"

How about this one from Return of the Jedi, again by Darth Vader. The commander on the new Death Star just stated: "We shall double our efforts". DV responds: "The Emperor is not as forgiving as I am."
