I've had "Oh boy! Mail!" as my notification for quite a long time. Makes me happy.

So are they on the CD, can I just copy them from the CDs or what??? I don't want to go and pay for Quick Time just so I can save the Audio Files from this website... Every time I right clicked on it, it said I have to purchase Pro... I don't use Quick Time enough for that...

So can I just pluck them off the CD???

Sorry...just something random I think of when I have to drag my butt out of bed for work at 3:30AM...
This would make an AWESOME ringtone. I'd love to be standing up in the middle of a crowded train somewhere in the city and suddenly hear this going off and seeing people's reaction. Cringeworthy? I suppose. Hillarious? I'm sold! :)

Definitely...if someone could send "you have a fax" or "Oh boy mail" or the rusty laughter to my phone as a ringtone, I would be so happy...

Do you already have the tones on your computer???

All you need is the wire that connects your phone to the computer and transfer it...

Or if your phone has a place for a Memory Card, makes it even easier...

No one is answering my question... lmao...

Can I pull these sounds right off the CDs or do I have to pay for Quick Time so I can download them off the site???
I really don't want to purchase Quick Time, I don't use it enough...

I have two ways of getting the sounds to my phone. The hard way is to rip off the software the phone company uses to access the file system of your phone, and have the accompanying wire. I won't go over that now since it's different for every phone. The easy way, I found out, is to send a random message 'hello, haha' to my email address from my phone. Then I check my email, and if the message comes through, then I can reply to my phone through my regular email. I then add an attachment mp3 or midi file, send it, and my phone receives it and I can save the sound as a ringtone. Free and simple. I use Verizon by the way

PS - If you want to rip sounds or music directly off the UKM cd's I believe there was a program that could do that - anyone?

Hmm...I just tried that, and managed to reply to my phone's text message while attaching an mp3 file. Still, the phone didn't seem to get the attachment. Is there any specific thing I'm supposed to do?

Does your phone have the support of a Memory Card or a USB port???

Those are the easiest ways I've found to transfer things to the phone...

Jcarnby, I guess it really depends on the type of phone you have. On mine when I get the text message back on my phone the sound just plays when I open the message, and if I hit options it gives me the option to save media. I think I have the CDM8940, at least a couple years old.

Also, I forgot to mention that I use my phone as an alarm clock also, and as an alarm I always set it to: "Warning - Security - Sweep - Will - Begin - In - Five - Seconds", followed by that creepy droid sound. Gets me outta bed every time
