I could careless if people agree with what I have to say, and I could careless if people like me... I've never been one for Popularity... Argue your topics and my comments all you want... I promise you that your bitching falls on def ears... I voice my opinion and don't care about what people think of it...

You can feel how you want about me and my comments... But I have heard black people talk down about Obama becoming President, and I have heard Women talk down about Hillary becoming President, and just about all people I've talked to agree Republicans don't need to remain in the White House...

I've already stated that I think Obama would be just fine in Office, but it's the way people think in general that would have me worried... This country barely survives being thrown into another civil war in more occasions than people realize...

Bjyman wrote:Baftis - If your spouse cheats you should forgive them.

This has gone off topic. I'm not voting based on politics. I'm voting based on Tex!
If your spouse cheats, you should forgive them... So you vow for better for worse, what about the Vow to be Loyal and Faithful??? No, there is no forgiveness for something of this nature... And if you feel there is, then you have no strength to stand on your own and are too dependent upon that person that they can do whatever they wish and you don't care...

Jen wrote:Only you Bafitis could take a harmless idea and twist it into an incendiary topic.

You've taken our little haven and spewed your toxin here.

Fred and Travis both tried to advise you, and you ignored them.

You seem not to realize that we are a group of friends, almost family here, and you insist on stirring up trouble and bad feelings.
Why because I commented on a Public Message board??? Then make the Threads private or have me banned...
A harmless Idea... There is nothing Harmless about Politics... Until a politician can stand up to the microphone and be here for the people instead of themselves, then politics will always be harmful... Politicians have forgotten why the government was established in the first place... Every time you turn around there are new cover ups, new laws to restrict you from doing this, that, or the other thing, and more secrets being made...

There are plenty of posts that I make that extremely on topic and extremely friendly, but go through and read them, there is someone that comes behind me to find something wrong with it, just because of some other comment somewhere else...
Biasness is universal and you will find it throughout this country just as you find it on message boards, be it here or anywhere else...

I'm not sexist or racist, but I just don't think the country is ready for either a Woman President or a Black President... And we don't need Republicans back in the White House,

so either way this country is screwed...

It's the last comment that gets you in trouble. You clearly state that the country is screwed if either A) We get a black or a woman president. or B) We get a republican.

It is a racist comment whether you want to see it that way or not. And if you aren't a racist I urge you to make your words much more clear next time. I will not tolerate bigotry of any kind.

I didn't say it for your toleration, you hadn't even posted in the thread when I said what I did... And I talk the way I talk, if people can't understand it, so be it... I know what I am and i know that I've had many friends, co-works, even relatives of all sorts of races... So for people to turn this into a black/white conversation, I find that to be bigotry in itself, clearly shows that people haven't left the 50s yet and still see everything in black and white...

So how is it a Racist comment either way you look at it??? It talks about Obama, Hillary and McCain... One Black, One Female, One White... It's a little hard to be Racist when you are dissing all 3 of the candidates...
Obama has what it takes to do the job, out of the 3 currently available... But my fear from the way things in this country are, will he end up being voted in because of that reason or will the majority vote the way they vote for other reasons???
Out of all 3 of them, I would rather see Obama then the other 2 in office come '09... I'm really against Hillary and I don't want Republicans keeping Office at this point... I have no party, just in case someone wants to bash me for saying that about the republicans...

Not quite sure who said it, but someone said McCain would be good in office... I so have to Disagree with this... McCain would be nothing but another Bush... The only difference between the 2 is McCain doesn't sound like he is chewing on his Tongue when he talks... Then again Bush didn't either until after he almost choked to death on a pretzel... Well at least that was the story given to the public...

Tex's comment about Hillary being the Alien president, stems from the old time joke that women are responsible for men's actions... So therefore Tex wasn't making an assumption that Hillary would be president, he was referring to Hillary running Bill's Presidency from behind the curtain...

Getting back on topic, I hope we don't make Tex's prophecies come true, I'd make a bad mutant
This is the smartest thing anyone has said in this topic so far. Who wants WWIII and a radioactive world?

There is no need for this to have gotten personal. If you don't agree with someone's position on an issue, present a counter-argument on the issue. Don't attack the person.

Indeed, I've always been struck by how friendly everyone is here and amazed that there were litte/no harsh words said in any thread I could find - at least until now.

Oh well.

Doc, that is an extremely intelligent comment...

I'm only up for the Radioactive World as long as I can be Immune like Mr. Murphy, I love Louie to death he is so awesome, but I really don't want to look like him or Rook...

Thats your interpitation. Tex wanst making an assumption about Hillary becoming president because in the future she evidentally was one.

Well, I've already got land picked out in Canada, can I live there quite happily for 4 to 8 years if she does... I'm not against Obama being President, but I am Highly against Clinton...

And for the Republicans to keep the white house, we'll just be in for another 4 to 8 years of what we just went through, just worse because of where we are at this point...

Yes it is... That's how I took the comment in Pandora... I don't believe that she had become president by 2042... I'm hoping she won't become president at all... She wasn't even in Politics {except being a President's Wife} until after Pandora was Made...

So should we turn Aaron into a Nostradamus if she actually trips into office???

Well wouldnt Archie have said First Lady instead of President? This reminds me of the mention of World War 3 even though it hasnt happened yet. Wonder if it was known Hillary wanted to be president when the game was made.

"So should we turn Aaron into a Nostradamus if she actually trips into office???"

Yes because this community couldnt make it happen. Even the potential of Aaron being Nostradamus excites me.

No, I don't think he would have said First Lady... Like I said the old time joke of the women running the office behind the curtain goes back quite a ways... Hillary wasn't even involved in politics with the exception of being the presidents wife... How she went and fell into the senate for New York is beyond me... I think she has little to no experience for the job of CIC... McCain has the experience, but he has the wrong Ideas and would run it about the same if not worse than Bush has... Obama has the Ideas, but is on the Sea-Saw when it comes to Experience...
And Clinton suggesting Obama be her running mate was just plain Rude...

You do know that no one discovered Nostradamus was describing actual events for centuries afterward he died... Aaron isn't dead yet and like most/all the other people here I hope that doesn't happen for quite sometime to come... So therefore we can't make him a Prophet until he dies... So I'm just as happy thinking of A.C. as a normal, yet gifted and talented. man... :)

Well even if I´m not american and I do not live in america, I had endless nights throughout the last months watching CNN hoping Obama will make it. And the way it seems he will ( related to the duel between him and Hillary) , what comes after that we´ll see when the time has come.
Too tired to write more now, but I think he would really make a good president and he is the one that could blow up old structures, if he is able to do so against all the opposing forces is a question that will only get answered if he gets a shot at the oval office, but if i think of anyone that might be able to turn the wave into a better ( and new) direction it´s him.
But whoever will be president, will have a very hard time dealing with all the mess that Bush, Cheney and the others left.

David Paterson, now this man would probably make a great President... No Pun Intended, but I have a feeling that he sees the issues far better than any politician currently in office...

{I say no pun intended because, for those of you who don't know, he is classified legally blind}
