Even for those not living paycheck to paycheck are going to feel it for at least the next year... 95% of Americas, among others as well, are going to have a pinch one way or another...Jim the old guy wrote:VERY sorry to hear that, ol' buddy. At least the banks are starting to realize that it wasn't Completely the homeowners fault and are stopping a lot of the foreclosures out there... Redesigning the terms of the loans and changing the payment plans and whatnot... It's a small start in a big project ahead...

One door closes, another one opens. It's not always easy to find, but something good will inevitably come of this.
I got laid off a few years ago, too. The unique thing about that was that I had to fire myself. I had five guys working for me, but I didn't have enough contracts to keep everyone on the payroll, so I sacked myself in order to keep everyone else working.
However, I also took my sacking as an opportunity to work on other projects that I, otherwise, would never have had time for. I know, of course, that it always helps to have money, but time is also a very valuable resource. Use it to your advantage. Maybe there's an opportunity for you somewhere in there.
