and don't forget chris jones did own access software, & when the sold to microsoft they thought they would continue writing tex murphy games but microsoft had other ideas.

personally I think they just wanted the name "access" as being too close to the their name
microsft access.

Please let's not discuss the "dark times". It still feels like rubbing salt into wounds. That was the time when we had no hope of ever seeing Tex again.
