I went ahead and got Overseer... Hopefully it runs fairly smooth... It's been Years since I've played Overseer... I know it isn't UAKM or PD, but it's still Tex Murphy... At least it will feel like a New Game... lol

I'll get around to getting the rest of them, but right now I already have them and they work flawlessly, but to support Bigfinish, I will purchase them in the near future...

good luck with overseer, I didn't buy overseer as my copy works excellent on visa. The other two I purchased. You can just burn the installer to a dvd disk that way you never have download again.

I've got the first 4 all on Flash Drive, thanks to DrPaul... And they work beautifully... But it's been so long since I've played Overseer... If I have trouble, I'll certainly be calling upon you... ;}

DrPaul made it to where everything you need, Patches and Dosbox and all are on a Flash Drive... You mount the Disc Folders to whatever drive your Flash Drive happens to be, in my case it is "J"... Runs very smooth...

It's basically the same as if you had installed Dosbox to your computer and then installed the game, but it's all already done for you on the Flash Drive... An 8GB flash drive will hold all 4 of the games, plus there is room left over to put things like the Manuals, or Puzzle Solutions, or Walkthroughs, or even the Radio Theaters... I've made 2 others for people, one went to Africa and one went to Italy, both say they work great... I put all that extra stuff on there for them just incase they needed it or use things like Walkthroughs or Puzzle Solutions...
I've made it clear to both of them that the credit goes to DrPaul, all I did was copy his work and change the drive letters for what they told me was their Flash Drive, in the config files for Pandora and Moon... MS and MM don't need to be changed since they don't require CD Swapping...

If you want the details of the programming involved you'll have to ask DrPaul since he is the creative mind behind it... He said when he has the time that he's going to post details on how to create it yourself, but he's a busy man so I'm not sure when he'll get around to it...

An 8GB Flash Drive can be purchased for under 20 bucks on ebay or other online places... I order most of mine from www.mwave.com or www.buy.com... www.buy.com usually has the better prices, but sometimes I'll catch a good sale at mwave... I've found that Kingston is a reliable brand, I have yet to have any trouble with them...

I was just interested on how he did it, I recently purchased a 32gb corsair, a brand that hasn't let me down as yet.

so where are your image files,surely you don't walk around with the cd's.

No CDs needed, just the Flash Drive... I guess he just transferred the CD to the Flash Drive... Like I said, I'm not sure of the Complete Details... I've copied his work a couple of times, but make sure that I give him the credit for the work... All I've done is Copy my Flash Drive to a New one, change the Drive Letter if needed and then mail it... I check it of course to make sure the copy is good, but otherwise I haven't a clue on the details of how he did it...

I've taken mine to 2 other computers {Friend's houses} and have had no trouble playing it there... It's much better than taking all the CDs, installing it and anything needed like Dosbox... This way you can show it off to people who may not have played it back in the day, thus creating more interest in Tex... Without the hassle of the CDs, Installation, or CD Swapping...

well now with these no cd patches the images are not needed, might try on one of my drives just for a experiment.
