Paradise was pretty cool and the ending rather unique. I liked it. Also, I really loved The Longest Journey and replay it every so often.

I like solving puzzles, as long as those puzzles aren't:
Step One: Find some obscure object that's the same color as the background around it.
Step Two: Backtrack to that switch you passed by a dozen panels ago.
or...
Step One: Find obscure, yadda yadda.
Step Two: Find another obscure object.
Step Three: Figure out which obscure objects work best when rubbed together.
Step Four: Backtrack to the blocked path that it's used for. You won't know which blocked path or switch or whatever, you just have to try them all.
That's the issue I had with Syberia. The art was amazing, Kate's voice was like nails against chalkboard, and the puzzles were poorly constructed. Or they were amazingly constructed, but the missing PC requirement on the box was user patience.

actually talking about dreamfall, I pulled out my disks & started to replay, I have found by changing the options to mouse movement instead of camera allows you to travel much easier.
However I had a problem with at times the camera stays in one spot & zowie walks off in the direction of the mouse. this is at waticorp walking down the corridors. Being killed by that flying bot isn't fun. I had this problem before & decieded to try to solve it. Actually I thought it was a win 7 problem but I tested it on vista & xp with the same results.
I am so excited that I have finally solved it, moving the arrow key in any direction brings the camera back to zowie.
though I should post it here, if anyone has the same problem.
