There are actually a few pyramids to visit.

We actually got to walk inside one of the smaller pyramids at Saqqara. They gave us claustrophobia warnings because there was a narrow shaft you had to go down to see the tomb inside.

For the Pyramids at Giza they had it roped off around the perimeter so you could not touch them. However we heard there were some disreputable guards you could bribe to get past the rope. There was an actual tour you could pay for for access inside one of Giza Pyramids, but we did not do that.

There is also a laser and light show for the Giza pyramids and the Sphinx at night. The night show was okay but seemed kinda dated.

There was also an option to fly to Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings which cost twice as much as the tour we did.

Cairo itself was mess. Nothing but trash everywhere in the streets. The Museum of Cairo had tons of great artifacts including their big display for King Tut.

Did you get to Meet Dr. Zahi Hawass by any chance??? I know he loves meeting the tourists...
He closed the Great Pyramid due to the Humidity caused from people breathing, it was destroying the Graffiti inside...

I think he is an Awesome man, I'd love to meet him when I make it over there...

No I did not. I was with a tour group. They ran us around Egypt over 2 days to try and make sure we saw as much stuff as possible. It was quite a hectic schedule.
