It will be interesting to see how any suit turns out. I think it will come down to what his contract says. Private parties don't have to respect first amendment rights.

If Charlies doesn't get therapy soon, his kids will be in therapy for the rest of their lives. I read on the news that the police have taken custody of his twin boys away from him.
I guess I should say that I don't support all of Charlie's actions. Especially actions that would endanger is health. However I don't think stopping him from doing something productive like working is the solution.

I'll just enjoy the show for now. As a die-hard Major League fan. I can say I expected nothing less from the Wild Thing.
Yep, it's time to watch Major League again.

His behavior is out of line due to the fact he has kids.
If he was single without children, then to each their own, he can live his life how he wants.
But he is acting like a teenager and being an irresponsible father.
Anyway, he has the Guinness World Record for acquiring the most twitter followers in the shortest time. Last I checked it is at 1,644,782.

Ok, some evidence that Charlie actually isn't insane. He's really sober in this one, down to earth and looks like a lot of fun to be around, instead it looks like he's just having tremendous fun:

Either that or i'm just desensitised, but he's clearly happy doing his own thing and I look forward to what's next

Over the last several weeks, Sheen has taken shots at creator Chuck Lorre, demanded a raise to $3 million per episode, paraded live-in porn stars around to various interviews, referred to fans as "trolls" and "losers" and started his own talk show on the Web that can only be described as disturbing,
there you go joel, he is calling you a troll & loser.

I'm certainly not arguing that the sacking is inordinate or unwarranted, if anything it's overdue. But I haven't found any quotes where he has flamed the fans too. If he has i'd definitely like to read them.

Does anyone here think Sheen has a case? I've read the multipaged letter and it sounds like he may be in violation of several areas of the contract.

I doubt it. Remember, it's Warner Brothers vs. Sheen. Warners wouldn't have done that without going over the contract and Company policy with a fine tooth comb.

Yeah I think Sheen was too arrogantly vocal to give him a legal chance. That's also what got him in this hot water in the first place.

It just goes to show that even though we've got free speech in this country, sometimes it's best if people just shut up. There's a time to talk and there's a time to not piss off your bosses.
Hopefully the show will recast him with another actor and move on, and Charlie will eventually get some help for himself.
