I wouldn't be against that if it was the quality of L.A. Noire...

that is still big budget though.

Doing the game in L.A. Noire style could possibly cost even more than doing it in FMV... The equipment and experts needed for that 3-D contrast stuff doesn't run cheap... But for FMV, you don't necessarily have to use Top Grade A actors... You could go to a local acting school and get students for a dime a dozen... Not too mention that most if not all of the originals seem more than willing to reprise their roles...
FMV doesn't cost nearly as much as it did in the 90s... But as with anything it does cost and therein lays the problem...

L.A. Noire had a massive budget of 50 Million dollars... I don't think Big Finish could raise that kind of money... Not when they can do a FMV for under 10 Million...
