Scam Alert: Most Kickstarter Projects Just Useless Crap
Oh I didn't know about the book either until this topic came upmy voice just wrote:forgive me my ignorance

Oh man, it's all coming true.
The Angry Video Game Nerd appeared a Kickstarter video for a project to complete Cheetahmen II, an epically awful NES game. A lot of people started crapping their pants with rage, calling him a sellout and whatever. Even though AVGN wasn't paid to do it.
Apparently, hating Kickstarters is very popualr these days. Just mention Kickstarter, and pee starts to boil. Thank God Big Finish made it in time!

They seem to be doing fine. Halfway to their goal with 24 days to go.
There'll always be raging about anything on the internet. Like some of those forum threads about the Tex Murphy Kickstarter that ended up in people raging (not gonna post links as its better they die and get lost in the deep abyss of the internet archives). But the Kickstarter still did fine. I'm sure there were people raging or complaints about the DoubleFine Kickstarter, I doubt it was all love abound everywhere on the internet. I've seen raging about the recent Ouya Kickstarter despite it going millions over its initial goal. Raging at things has always been popular on the internet (thats why a whole site dedicated to Rage Comics exist).

AVGN is hilarious.
Mainly, because I remember going to the rental store as a kid, picking out an NES game and coming home and it being crap and then going right back, saying I hate it and getting a different one.
Remember back in the day before cds when stores had the most amazing return policies?
You could always take cartridges back, especially if you brought them home to find they were crap.
Anyway AVGN reminds me of me when i was like 8. It is pretty funny watching a grown man act that way though LOL!
