Silent Hill Revelations 3d

I see my lovable Phoenix Wright has been mentioned... Sadly Capcom has no intention of releasing the Investigations Part 2 outside of Japan... So unless you can read Japanese go ahead and take it off your list... Apparently there just wasn't enough interested generated from the first one to warrant the translation of the 2nd... Pity...

Has anyone played AGAIN for the DS??? It's an Interactive Crime Novel of some kind... I bought it one day when in the store, just haven't gotten around to playing it yet...

Silent Hill has been a long standing favorite of mine... Resident Evil as well, but I have to agree with Fred and put Silent Hill at a higher level...

Do you mean the sequel to the Miles Edgeworth spin off game? Yeah it is a shame. Though I'm sure some fan might release some translation. I haven't actually played the Miles-focused one yet though I do own it. I can see how it might not of done as well, just like how many were dissapointed in Apollo replacing Phoenix. But I am looking forward to playing it personally, Miles is a cool character after all.

According to Wikipedia, the person who stated "no plans" to release the sequel has been slowly changing his stance:
In March 2011, Capcom's Christian Svensson stated that there were no plans at the time to release Gyakuten Kenji 2 in regions outside of Japan. In an interview with Siliconera in December 2011, Svensson stated that the potential for a downloadable, digital release of Gyakuten Kenji 2 exists, but that he couldn't say that it definitely would happen, and that "conversations are ongoing internally about how to address the audience that’s clamoring for more [Ace Attorney] goodness". In January 2012, in a live "questions and answers" video, Svensson again said that he had not given up on trying to get Gyakuten Kenji 2 released in the West, that conversations remained ongoing, and that he was "cautiously optimistic that some day, that content will exist in the West in some form. In March 2012, he once again said that an English release of the game was "an open discussion point", and that he hoped that "the fans are still patient with us"
The Phoenix Wright games themselves still seem popular enough though since another installment was announced. I wish the crossover one with Professor Layton wasn't going to be 3DS only though, due to not owning one, but maybe someday.

That would be great if they change their mind, I would surely buy it... Personally I loved the Miles Edgeworth Investigation Turnabouts... The humor you got from Phoenix was lost a little, but it was still humorous and very enjoyable to play...
I just finished it this past weekend in fact... Was quite upset that it was over too... There is a lot more Franziska Von Karma in this game as well... One of the Turnabouts you relive Edgeworth's first day on the job...

I don't want to give too much away so I'll do the whole Spoiler in Black Font bit, highlight and read at your own risk... lol

Miles' job is to investigate crime scenes and then question and wear down suspects and other characters... I care too much for Interpol interfering, but Agent Lang turned out to be pretty kewl... You don't go into the Courtroom at all, except in one Turnabout where you have to question the judge... Everything takes place in the field {so to speak}... Don't let this discourage you though, Still a very enjoyable game...

This new movie has Malcolm McDowell in it so I'm sold. Been a fan of the games since 2.
I have been a fan since number 1 =)

Lord Rapture, it is actually a movie based on a game... not an actual game.

And yes, the cast does seem pretty good.
It's got Carey Ann Moss too, and Sean Bean again.
These are the most prominent.

Based on who Malcolm McDowell is playing, I think his part is going to be somewhat small, unless they flesh it out for the movie. They could based on who he is playing.

Investigations was very good indeed. I just missed the courtroom scenes in a big way (and the "Cornered" music!!).

Again, yes, I've finished this one, together with Hotel Dusk and its sequel. I believe they were by the same company as Trace Memory (or Another Code), Cing? Something like that. Very good stories and I spent many hours on each. :)

Just wish I knew where the DS was... my son seems to have lost it...

Awesome, thanks for the recommendations...

I can't find a 2nd Hotel Dusk... The only thing that comes up in a search is Hotel Dusk: Room 215... Is the sequel by a different name???
My local store has both Hotel Dusk and Trace Memory so I'm thinking of swinging by and picking them up, but if I can get all 3, all the better... So if you could give me the proper name for the sequel to Hotel Dusk I'd appreciate it...
Using Google I found something called Last Window, but couldn't find it in Gamestop's website... Oh well, I'll just have to contend myself with the other 2 for now... Maybe I'll come across it in the near future...

Also, during my search I found one called Miami Law, seems pretty interesting, it's only a few bucks previously owned, so I'm gonna grab that one as well...

There was a second Hotel Dusk called Last Window: The Secret of Cape West, which was only released in Europe and Japan. I think it has a better story than Hotel Dusk. You can import it if you'd like. I recommend it highly.
