Mr. Thomas Malloy wrote:"And now comes the part where I relieve you, the little people, of the burden of your failed and useless lives. But, as my plastic surgeon always said: if you gotta go, go with a smile!"
I figured a Batman film with The Joker but wasn't sure which one. So I looked up a list of Batman films in order of release. And I guessed it was the 1989 "Batman" by Tim Burton. Because (a) the others featured other villains (b) the 60s one would be more comical than sinister (c) I don't remember it being in the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight one since he had a different story for his "smile".

yep :-) Everybody's favorite Joker is Heath Ledger.

Except for me. I prefer Nicholson.

You are amazing and it's one of my favorite little action movies. In honor of getting it right, you will receive a great, big, F***ING gun and some chocolate. Sorry, don't have Kim Cattrall's phone #.
To bad :D

Seriously, wow. I thought that was one of Nicholson's worst performances. Interesting how different people view it.

I view it like this. When I was 9 years old or so, I watched the movie for the first time. That Clown, played by Nicholson haunted my dreams. Now whenever I relive the movie I feel the same dreaded terror I did back then.

True enough though, different opinions for different people. I just think that my previous young experiences with Nicholson has clouded my judgement. Ledger is good, but he doesn't give me that wave of evil nostalgia that turns my stomach.

On a side topic, I have another movie quote! More a slice of a movie scene.

"Who is he?
He's a Bleephole sir.
I know that! What's his name?
That is his name sir. Bleephole, Major Bleephole!
And his cousin?
He's a Bleephole too sir. Gunner's mate First Class Philip Bleephole!
How many Bleepholes do we have on this ship, anyway?
[Entire bridge crew stands up and raises a hand]
Yo!
I knew it. I'm surrounded by Bleepholes!

And if you don't know what bleepin word I'm bleeping out of the previous sequence use your imagination! When you go take a bleep it comes out of your bleep. That's the bleep, right there. Eh?

That's from Spaceballs. :)

Alright, so it was too easy :-)

How's about something a bit harder. More obscure.

"Ohhhhhhh, you've come to the right place my boy. I'm somewhat of an expert on the Southern Oracle."
"It's my scientific specialty!"

The Neverending Story

How about this:
"I see you're missing an eye, pilgrim."
[Pulls hat over one eye]
"Now that makes it a fair fight. That's right, I'm talkin' to you, furhead! "

An American Tail (Fievel)

Very close. Same character, different film.

Fieval Goes West! I *knew* I had heard it before, but couldn't place it. Had multiple viewings of it with my friends kids.

One of my favorite movie quotes, and something I say almost everytime I lose my glasses.

"My glassess! ..... I can afford more glassess."

Well, OK. We both get points. The title actually is: An American Tail: Fievel Goes West.
Ok, here's one. I used to use it for my signature here. . .

"No matter where you go, there you are."

And here are some more (mostly easy ones):

"I'd like to think you killed a man. It's the romantic in me."

"Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?"

"I was out saving the galaxy when your grandfather was in diapers."

"Where does he get all those wonderful toys?"

"Please! This is supposed to be a happy occasion. Let's not bicker and argue over who killed who."
Never too late for coffee, never too early for beer.
"No matter where you go, there you are." - Buckaroo Banzai (in the nth dimesion or something)

"I'd like to think you killed a man. It's the romantic in me." - Casablanca

"Snakes. Why did it have to be snakes?" - Indiana Jones (the first movie, Raiders of the Lost Ark)

"Where does he get all those wonderful toys?" - The Joker in an early Batman movie (can't keep them all straight)

The rest I don't know...and to add a few of my favorites:

"What we've got here, is failure to communicate"

"Is that true?" "Yes, It's true, that man has no dick"

"I picked a bad week to stop sniffing glue"
