Drew: That’s an interesting organ you have there.
Barman: Ma kilt’s riding up again, isn’t it?
Drew: No, no, no. I mean the piano-type organ… thingy.

This is also an interesting site:

I remember there was a Cyberpunk game with FMV adventure game back in 1994 call Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller with starring of Dennis Hopper, Grace Jones, Stephanie Seymour, and Geoffrey Holder are among the actors in the game. I hope GOG release that game since I never play this game. You guys play this game before?
Hadn't heard of it before personally.
It is on the Community Wishlist if you want to vote for it though.

Well I'm embarrassed to say I never played Toonstruck back when it came out. It got poor reviews in most of the magazines I used to read at the time and the sticker price was unusually high in my neck of the woods (about $60 bucks at Electronics Boutique near my house was too much for me at the time and it stayed at the price for about a year, which was also strange.)

Black Dahlia I have and gave up on. I hate using walkthroughs and I just couldn't get through it. It beat me. Maybe I'll try a rematch one day. Brutal puzzles.

I recently bought a sealed copy of RIPPER and ANGEL DEVOID on ebay for fifteen bucks which I thought was great. Been playing RIPPER and it's tough but much better than I thought (again, terrible reviews at the time of its release.)

I love FMV games and I'd love to own them all someday.

But anyway, try ebay, you'd be surprised how cheap some of these FMV games are going for. There are still plenty of sealed copies that pop up.

Incidentally, PC Gamer was among the hardest on FMV games. I remember they dubbed John Rhys-Davies with the moniker "Multimedia Whore" Rhys Davies for all his appearances on FMV games. After making a huge deal out of Under a Killing Moon they all but ignored Pandora with a little tiny (but positive) half-page review in the back of the magazine. I guess their multi-page review of William Shatner's Tek War FPS or whatever the hell it was left no room for old Tex.
I got Toonstruck at a 2nd hand games store so I probably didn't pay that much for it.
Black Dahlia puzzles are indeed very cryptic. I'm pretty crap at puzzles anyway but I did give it a go with writing down all the symbols and stuff. But in the end I used a walkthrough.

Apparently GOG recently hinted that they are getting close to taking in a new publisher. They say they had 5 top targets, 2 of which they have made deals with, and now have 3 left which includes Microsoft, Take Two and Lucasarts. There's a thread running on GOG right now speculating who it will be out of the 3.
