Chris Jones talks about "Stolen Life"

I hope that when I'm in my 50's I still look as good as Chris Jones does. The guy doesn't age. I'm sure the lack of smoking and drinking helps! (I don't smoke or drink either).

Ah well, I'm 25 now and most think I'm no older than 20. Yay!

I'm looking forward to hearing Chris' Voice in something again, unfortunately the game doesn't look too appealing. Maybe it's just a bad trailor. I hope so!

I think it's because he's very... close to the character. -----> BANG!
Melting, do you mean that his real name is... Adrian Carr?
I think he means that Carr played Dalton.

Actually, Crowley, "the One and Only Dalton" means just that. It's him.
Well, I'm almost 60 and I wish I looked as I did when I was 30ish. Now that I think about it, I wish I WAS 30ish. (It seems soooo long ago.)

Yes, ALex - I am Adrian Carr. I have observed the messgae board for a few years - keeping track of the fan's reactions and interaction. I've read Aaron's chatroom conversations and for those of you who don't know him - Aaron is very honest in his answers. While I am privvy to certain updates all I'll say is they are working damn hard at bringing Tex back [as I said in one of my early posts - we are all busy but Tex hovers high in our consciousness].

I don't have time to get involved with all the different conversations on this site but when I have a moment and something to say I will write, if the fans find it of interest.

Keep up the great work - ALL your support for Tex drives us to keep pushing forward.

It'll take more than a few years in development limbo to kill off us die-hards.

I am sorry, Mr. Carr! For my post with "combat knife". I didn't know that was you. But I hate "Dalton" character. No reason to lie you.

Alexander.

Dang. No sound for me, no matter what dark magick I throw around with codecs and other subtle techy stuff on the 'puter. Must call Guru on the morrow. That, or learn to read lips, and really visualize (or is it audiolize?) Chris Jones' voice... Oh well...

I'll say this for him, he looks really good despite the years gone by. Must be good karma for spreading all that joy.

Dalton, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say Feel free to stick around and post as much as you want.

I believe Chris was referring to a game he and Aaron were developing called The Guardian - a spin off from the movie AI. Chris had met with Spielberg and the game was well in development when the plug was pulled due to the poor performance of the film at the box office. I had already produced about 900 storyboard drawings in preparation for directing the movie sequences. Too bad it could've been an exceptional game.

Now as far as Tex is concerned... he is far from deceased. While Chris and Aaron both have full time job committments I know for certain that Tex is a high priority in their lives and believe me they are toiling diligently to revive our lovable PI with a heart.

Dalton
Wow! That's really awesome to hear. I guess that revives a spark of hope for the future. After all this time it seemed to me like Tex was gone and done with, like so many other classic adventure games.
