Coffee with Adrian

I enjoyed Crusade not for the grail but for the interaction with his father. I enjoyed the Ark for seeing him travel to distant places and interacting with Marion and Sulla. At the end they shove the Ark into a box and everything goes on as usual. I don't think anyone really enjoyed Temple of Doom. They lost me at the eyeball soup and yanking hearts out of people's chests.

It's just like the saying goes. It's not about the destination. It's about the journey. Skull could have spent more time delving into the father son thing with Indy and the kid but no. No deep discussions with Marion either. Just hey we've got to get to these "magical" skulls.

Once the skulls are found and the aliens disappear, we are left alone and stranded in the middle of the jungle. What kind of crappy ending is that? It's not a triumphant ending like Crusade where they ride off into the sunset and the good guys are happy and healthy. #4 never should have been made. It's tainted my fond memories of #3.

Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.
I always thought that if they were ever to make a 4 that Fate of Atlantis would have been a good plot.

The adventure game had a better story than the 4th movie. True story.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!

It's interesting that both 3 and 4 had family elements, but it seems like 4 didn't explore them as much as it should have.
