I assume you are using the latest Audigy 2 drivers as well..?
Run Msinfo32.exe and select 'Conflicts/Sharing' in the left pane. Tell me what, if anything is listed on the right.

Here's the prime suspects. You certainly do NOT want these two sharing IRQs under ANY circumstances.
Try moving the Audigy 2 to another PCI slot (you don't need to fiddle with drivers or anything, just turn the PC off and swich slots).
Post back the results in the 'Conflicts/Sharing' section once you've done this.
