I definitely agree with Jen and TOG. Except for a few yahoo groups targeted to PI's, this is the ONLY message board I have ever gotten into, and I've been around here for probably five years; ever since I finished Overseer and began to wonder when the sequel was coming out, and then fell across the truth as well as you wonderful people. It's amazing how we've stuck it out this long, and how we'll keep sticking it out.

Jen wrote:I guess what it all boils down to for me, is the people. There is no other board that I've followed so long, no group of cyber-folks I've become more bonded with. The characters on Chandler Avenue feel very much like the people we encounter everyday. Real, with foibles and twisted humor, still plugging along in a world that seems to want to cast them aside.
And the fact that the former Access team, from Adrian, Aaron and even Chris hold onto their attachment to Tex, makes it all the more sweeter.

Damn glad to hear that, Jennifer!

I think the legacy of Tex in my life is lots and lots of fond memories playing some great games. Of all the great experiences I have had on the PC, Tex has to be in the top 5. Even though I am almost completely out of games now I honestly think I will always remember the fun and exciting adventures I had.
