Did Tesla live up to expectations for you? (major spoilers)

Yes.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I am extremely delighted with what I have played so far. There are some really good FMV segments (the one with Jen had me on the floor laughing), some good puzzles (I am not very good with puzzles but found some I could figure out), some scary moments, icky spiders and morlocks added to the over all effect, and several new and really cool characters not mention some really great established ones. So, yes, I am very pleased with this game.

The question we should ask is this: After all those years, was it worth waiting for?

Keeping the faith means to belive in those whose responsibility it is to provide a new game, but also to trust their gaming sense and let them know how much we appreciate everything they went through to bring us The Tesla Effect! True, we the fans should have our say; just don't be too negative or this may be the last Tex game ever.

My 2 cents.
Love you all

It absolutely lived up to my expectations. The only frustrating thing about the game was just due to me being an idiot. I didn't realize until the satellite power puzzle that you could click on the question mark and Tex would explain the goal of the puzzle to you. I just thought that you had to figure out what to do on your own, which made some of the earlier puzzles trickier than they might otherwise have been.

But, it absolutely lived up to my expectations and, in some ways, was more than I'd dared hope for.
Finished just the one play through so far, and I'd give it about a 6/6.5. But that's not a bad thing. It's a solid 6.5 and it's well worth playing, but I felt it had some serious story pacing problems in the second half, the zoom puzzles felt a bit off for some reason compared to the previous games and the overall villain never felt threatening enough (but after York's solid performance in Overseer that was going to be hard). It felt like Tex, but it didn't feel like Tex. Definitely glad I backed it, but would be hesitant to back a sequel (if required) to the extent that I did this one. Overall, a solid game but a somewhat missed opportunity.
