I hope things get better for you soon.

Let us know if the camping grounds let you stay.

Still alive! Actually things are looking up. I have 8 days left in my placement then I head home. I have been upgraded from a car as my place of residence to a cabin in a campground so no more back spasms. (I guess people don't like it when you sleep in your car.) And my father DOESN'T have cancer. I kinda didn't dwell on that earlier but it was in there and just thought I'd add it as there is a large string of happy things happening. As for internet I get it when I sneak onto an unsecured wireless network or when I can get onto it at my placement when I have a moment and no one is looking. I didn't have a chance to check out the tunes yet as the computer I am on has no soundcard or onboard audio of any kind but I will as soon as I can get onto another network. The actual script is posted a while back so if you want a preview you should check that out. I can't remember the original heading but it's not that far back. I like the "tex lifestyle" reference it made me laugh, although I am not quite on the "Eat the Rich" dog food level yet. However I do have $200 to my name and $140 of that is reserved for the drive home so it could get to that level. The next 8 days are going to be interesting if anything. I'll try to drop by on the weekend and post a better update. Until then I just gotta keep on keepin' on.

Good things will happen, Stu. Ever here of Robert Kiyosocki? (sp.) He wrote Rich Dad, Poor Dad, The Cash Flow Quadrant and The Business School for Helping Other People. He and his wife were penniless, lived on a beach scraping for food, and wondering where their next dime would come from. He retired at age 47, extremely wealthy, and dedicated to helping others attain wealth. If you are seeking wealth (not just getting rich), read his books and follow his advice.

I AM HOME AND ALIVE!! I have finally returned from my placement after being trapped for 2 weeks with car problems in a city halfway home. Uggghhhh this has been the longest month of my life. I am just glad to be home. On a happy note I have definately graduated and looks like I made the Dean's List! So that's a first for me so things are looking good.
Now back to the original reason for this post, the music for my little Texesque movie. Upon my return I was surprised to find that they were now tearing apart my school, which of course was a complete surprise to me when I got back as I still had a production to finish. I am looking into setting up my workstation elsewhere while constrution is going so I will have to get back to everyone later as to what the hell is going on as soon as I find out myself. Phwew long winded sentence. Umm I think that's it for now, I hope people are still interested after all this stuff has gone on. Thanks for being patient guys.

Welcome back to the land of the living...or, um, at least to the land of, uh, the Fedora-wearing.
Congrats on the whole graduating/Dean's List thing as well. And don't worry about schedules, after all, who here has a life (outside Tex, of course)

I'll be ready whenever you are.
One question, if I may be so curious: How close to the script did things finally turn out? I'd love to see a comparison from page to screen.
In the meantime, best of luck finishing your project.
