Interesting. The one thing I took most note of was when the detective said, "Call me when he wakes up." I took that to mean us, the kidnapee, was being taken to hospital after a harrowing escape from the derelict bank.

if you replay the episode the ambulance bit & the detective scene is just showing whats coming in the next episode & not a ending. I bet the poor bastard has to go through heaps before the ambulance.
he does say "let me know when he wakes up" I wonder how long before we see the next episode.

It's possible I suppose. I was just figuring it was showing the aftermath of the bank explosions.

I've just finished Contradiction - interesting but the stand out reason why Tex remains king for me is because it's just a lot of Q&A, so puzzles etc to solve. That can work ok during most the game but the whole climax based on the same process of finding one contradiction is not as satisfying as disarming a computer or tuning in the right radio frequencies.
I'd probably buy a second game at the price of this one but probably not a third. It definitely needs some kind of puzzle conclusion to it.
In some ways it reminded me of a video 'game' that someone on these boards created on YouTube where your choices led to a different cut scene etc.

It's funny; I find the "all-video murder mystery adventure" description more applicable to Missing than Contradiction.
Contradiction is sort of a blending of old style point-and-click adventure mixed with FMV. Unlike Tesla, or even Overseer or Pandora, there is no 3D world that you can navigate around. Now, credit where it's due: Contradiction does use the FMV to convey important clues to solving the mystery.
Missing is, to me, the most seamless blending of FMV and gameplay I've ever seen. If you're not paying attention, you can actually miss the point where the game switches from movie mode to gameplay mode. The transition between the 2 modes is almost perfect.
