Speaking of age, when I was much younger (about 6 or 7) I used to ask my grandmother how old she was and she used to tell me she was 21, just for fun. From that, I started to think that when folks reached 100 years old they started counting backwards in age until they got back to 0, and that's when they dies of old age.
It was a very good explination becuase; not only did it explain my grandmother being 21, but it also explained why old poeple start shrinking back into their skin and need to be fed by grown-ups again.

That's really great DrPaul, I wish you all the very best! May I ask what kind of work you're pursuing?
Nice to know Aaron is receiving alot of attention with this. It'd be great to of gone to that.
Good to know he isn't too worried about getting another job. Best of luck, Aaron!

Thanks for the good wishes and for the asking.
I'm working on three projects. One of them is nearly complete, so I can tell you everything about that. It is a digital juke box for the home. In many respects, it's like an iPod, but with some significant differences. It has a 17 inch touch screen and is designed to be flush-mounted on the wall. It's mostly aimed at high-end homes with rec rooms and built-in stereo systems. You can search for songs by title, artist, catagory, and CD cover. The CD cover mode is fun and great for parties. It displays eight CD covers at a time that you page through. YOu can put your own CD collection on it, or any of the mp3s you've downloaded from the internet, and we are in the process of setting up a shopping cart from which you can buy any hard-copy CD and also have it loaded on your juke box automatically. It also has several other features which you can see on our website at

I'm hoping to update the website so that it will feature an interactive demo version but with short sound-clips. It's hard to appreciate how cool it is unless you actually play with it.
A second project I'm working on is a new kind of convertable top for Jeep Wranglers. I don't know if any of you have had experience putting the top up or down on a Jeep, but it's a pain. I've designed a new top that will go up in two minutes (as opposed to the typical 10 of 15 minutes for the factory top, even in cold weather which is impossible for the standard top. I can't say more than that because the patents are still in process.
Finally, my third project is the one you guys would probably be most interested since it is a 3D virtual world application, but I can't say anything online about it until the patent and copyrights are secured. All I can say is that it has both cool-factor and usefulness.
I had a foths project, but after I built the prototype, it didn't work as well as I had expected it would and cost much more to manufacture than anyone would be willing to pay, so I dumped it.
