Is mac Malden a norm or a mutant?

Wintermute wrote:I think that no one really knows, not even the screenwriter or the actors themselves. ;-)

I guess the writer just thought it was convenient for the story to make Chelsee a mutant without bothering with such small details like what this mutation actually could be.

Just see it as a little "Tex-Secret". :D
Actually, Aaron Conners has said in the past that, if and when they are able to continue the Tex series, one of the things we will eventually discover is what Chelsee's mutation actually is.
But it is not really certain that they thought about something explicit at the time when he actually WROTE the story of UAKM or PD.
Even so, maybe actress Suzanne Barnes doesn't know anyway.

Whatever, doesn't really change anything, but it's nice to talk about it.
I agree, Winter. It might be unbeknownst to some, but like James said, is already thought of.

As for Cub's 3rd boob comment: ROFL.

He made a cameo in Overseer?

I haven't played the game in a while.
Yeah, first time Tex goes to see that police woman whose name I cannot recall (your police connection, good enough), Malden is the guy getting yelled at and subsequently bumps into Tex on his way out the door.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
When you enter Eve Clements office for the first time they're having an arguement

Hahaha... yeah I remember that part... when I saw that I could not stop laughing. Would that have been the first time Tex saw Mac?

-Cub. =o)
Not exactly an arguement; more like a major butt chewing! Eve was ripping Mac a new rear rectal cavity!
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
Yeah it would have been the first time so I dont know why he didn't have his Martian Memorandum look.

Because Overseer (a.k.a. Mean Streets) takes place before Martian Memorandum. :) At that point in time, Mac was obviously an underling of sorts in the SFPD, as evidenced by the verbal beat-down he was taking from Eve Clements.
I remember loving that sequence. Very funny.
Maybe I'm reading more into it but he had his light hair like after he had his midlife crisis in Pandora.
Well the whole thing is Tex's slightly glamourised memory of events - particularly noticeable with Sylvia The Refugee From The 1920s. Maybe he remembered Mac with his current hair colour - I tend to remember people with their current hair colour if they dye it.

I would imagine that Mac may have died his hair, or was wearing a wig, in Pandora, to harken back to the lighter hair he had in younger days - - as would befit a mid-life crisis. ;)
