am now at the point where I am trying to travel back to Roswell from electronic shop. Do believe it is my disc that is somewhat corrupted at this point. I tried a saved game from when I just finished zapping the alien and then went all over Roswell, both floors and into every room. Collected and looked at EVERYTHING. Could not get into the contaminated rooms.

then went back through lasser field, examined everything outside Rosewell and went clear outside the whole Rowell complex and that threw me into the travel field. Once at the electroic shop I then had problems buying the battery pack. My PC kept freezing, had the battery pack but had trouble paying for it - kept working at it until I saw the $420 go down to $400 so knew I had pack andit was paid for.

But no way can I now bring up the travel screen to go back to Roswell with battery pack to combine with the abductor to use. Have tried inside the shop and outside but still no travel screen. So unless I use yet another saved game will have to get a flash drive and take advantage of bafitis's offer.

You could also buy and download Pandora from GOG... It is set up to where you don't need discs... You just download it and start playing it... This is the good thing about GOG, people can buy and download all 5 games and don't need to worry about Discs... Hopefully it spurs new Tex Fans...

with the file I sent you, there is no need to go back to the electronics shop.
just find the robco toy & combine the battery. Only the robco toy can go into the rooms via the ducts.

I will email my walkthrough file, I think it would be a good idea for you to read it.

OK will now use your file. I gave it one more try and was able to buy the batteries, combine with the toy and no problems. Thought this would do the trick. But again when I tried to leave the shop - it was no go, no travel screen. Have played and replayed the segment when first entering Roswell over and over until blue in the face so saved game here I come:(

Have you tried using a Saved Game that is Before Roswell??? That way you can buy the Battery before you even go to Roswell... I mean you know how to take care of the Alien now, so it wouldn't be a huge setback or anything... And it would solve the Travel problem...

Go to my website and click on the Saved games tab, then click on Pandora. Now click on game button 42 to download the saved game. This will put you back into Roswell Hallway 1. You can now Combine the Robco battery pack with the Abductor. This should solve your problem. But if for some reason you are still having problems, then send me an email and we'll get you going again. :D

My website and email address are listed below.

Was going to hang in it, wait for all the games to be available on gog and buy them and redo Pandora since I think maybe my disc has a glitch. But just can't face giving up on Pandora so will keep struggling. Will try your suggestion re game 42 Nilo and keep at it:)

May be a bit for I get to it as I am involved in work stresses right now plus have bought 3 cards to Midnight and am wending my way through it  But I seem to be a person that hates to give him so will get back to old Tex in Pandora soon as I can :(

So is gog a good and safe place to do business with? Have had some issues before buying games from some sites.

And if they use PayPal is that also reliable? Some time back I was badgered for a time by some site claiming to be PayPal and wanting me to do business since I had an account with them. I did not and so stayed clear of that site. Now I hear that such may have been a scam using the PayPal name. Just do not know who to trust anymore.

Any feedback you have will be helpful as I am ready to purchase all 3 TEx games now.

Paypal itself is a perfectly safe site, just don't click on links through any emails... ALWAYS type Paypal's web address into your browser... Paypal will also Always address you by the name you used to sign up for Paypal, they will NOT use things like "Dear Customer"...

GOG is also a very reliable site... I've purchased several games from them, as have many other members of the community here...

Happy Gaming...

I might also suggest the other 2 games in the series... They aren't Movie Based like the 3 you're talking about, but they are very good games...
