Secret of Nimh, The
Don Bluth's first independant animated film after bravely moving away from Disney Studios. This is a fine example of the atmospheric and touching animation Don Bluth can do, this and alot of his other films are seen as classics by me.

Was about to say Evolution but noticed its been done at least twice in this thread

I reccomend using the forum's search if anyone wants to find out if a film you want to post has already been said. Then find any results with this thread title.
Anyway, Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken is extremely cool

And the film has an interesting premise with a whole city being turned into a prison. I guess its kind of a dystopian film (if I'm understanding that term right) which I find an interesting topic. Its a bit slow at times but John Carpenter's soundtrack makes up for it.
The sequel is also just as good in my opinion. But I'll save that for when I get another E maybe
