Well in those few months he did do that one job that netted him 10,000 dollars in which he remodeled his office and paid up all his bills... But then again that only left him with $4.12...
I like Tex better being a Non-Violent type rather than a gun-slinging vigilante...

Well if they do bring back the gun ammo could be the new cash.

After the success of UAKM it appears Tex evolved, both psychologically and mature-wise. In PD we see a much improved Tex, one who needs not a gun and can even walk Chandler Ave. without his fedora and trenchcoat. Paths A & B seem to support that conclusion. As for Overseer, well, our hero has a steady job! He's not so bumbling and rumbling and mumbling and wisecracking. Yes, he's still Tex, but he seems to have matured, along with the writer's ability to present him to a more mature public.
Finally, in a time where guns play an important role in the lives of criminals and where guns hold such a high negative impact on our children, why not eliminate the gun altogether and present a hero that no longer needs one? To me, it makes these games more presentable to the general public, especially for families. This, to me, is hugely important. The divorce rate for new marriages is 50% in this country and most children going to school today come from either broken homes and/or single parent families. My guess is this: present Tex in such a way as to appeal to the family unit.
Course, Path C of PD blows that summation out of the water, but I have a feeling we will NEVER see that side of Tex again in game, book of any other media.

Well spoken Jim. I agree with you on the Path C Tex we all grew to "hate" (although, it was kinda fun to see Tex in a really cynical, pissed of state...added a whole new dimension to his character).

Well Aaron said future Tex games would still have multiple paths so I still hope one of those would be a Boulevard of Broken Dreams path for future games. Not the ideal path but entertaining none the less.

I'd also hope that any future games would have a dark path. I really think it shows a lot of depth and versatility in a game to incorporate so many different paths that the characters can take. Even if we all know that Tex is really a good guy and would never turn to such a dark path as in Pandora, it's still an experience to see it.

Exactly. I didn't really have anything else to say here, so I kinda feel like this is a frivolous post. But I'm going to keep typing for a couple more lines until it looks like a true post and that way I won't be judged by others as a post whore.
