Hey Steve, thanks for coming out the dark shadows of the black Tex Murphy message board website layout and stepping into the bright white light of the post message input box to tell us about yourself!

I hope you have a lot of fun here!

You are right, Sai. I will tell you a little bit about myself, after all it is only fair since I've been lurking for so long.
I'm very nearly 40 years old, living on a farm (with a few horses) next to a fjord in the northwest of coastal Norway. This is the heartland of the vikings. If you use Google Earth, just type 'ormset, tingvoll, norway'. Ormset is the name of the farm and Tingvoll is the name of the county.
I have a master's degree in philosophy, but untill recently I've been working as a as a local manager on a fish farm. But this is boring stuff...
I first met Tex Murphy in 1996. I bought my first pc and by coincidence my eyes fell upon a blue box with a red moon (if I remember correctly). It was the moon that made me interested, because it reminded me of an adventure game called Red Moon that I playd on a 64 kb Amstrad (something like commodore 64) in 1985. I soon found out it had nothing to do with the game Red Moon. It was Under a killing moon. I still remember vividly my first meeting with Tex Murphy. And of course, when I got to play the game, I knew straight away that this was a game unlike any other I had played. Even now, after playing so many other great games, Under a killing moon is still my single most favourite game.

Thanks for the rundown Steve, Tingvoll looks like a very pretty place.
And that is a cool story. The power of the full moon drew you in eh? Very mysterious! Glad it did though so you were able to enjoy such great games!
