Missing you

Exactly Sowden. Untill this thread I didn't know Frank was "Frank De Pasquale". I remember your coolness in the past.
My last screen name was grendeljen.

Good thread Jim.
Frank, you wouldn't happen to have any relatives in Maryland, would you??? My son use to play football with a kid that had the last name De Pasquale...

Frank De Pasquale sounds familiar.
I remember a few years back when Frank & I were going to make our own adventure game. I recall him sending me a few pictures of artwork and then I remember me forgetting all I knew about AGS, and then it all didn't go anywhere at all.

Good times!

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I had forgotten about grendeljen! Somehow I always thought you went by Jen, but I do remember when you commented about shortening the name.

Coolness of the past? Well, my goal was always to outcool Steve McQueen, but let's face it that's impossible. I'll settle for self-appointed Prime Minister of Cool :P

Bafitis, not that I know of, but we're probably related somehow. There aren't that many outside of the Old Country.

I know I had you on my ICQ Blair but I don't think we really talked outside the old boards. You fall in the "been there since day -1" category for me!

Fred, I remember those! The main one was a bar in Police Quest "3d" style wasn't it? I always wondered what happened to that :P

Lots of familiar names on that list Jim. Good memories. I hope some of them are still lurking somehow.

You know, I still have a link to the old message board just for kicks. I wonder if we check it if we can find old board member names. It would also be cool to find old classic posts. Like the week long series of AC Q&A. That would be fun to dig up. I have to go to work now, but I'm going to check it when I get back home.

I'm still around. I never really left for good, I just haven't posted in a very long time. I mostly stopped posting and working on my website once I went away to university. I spent two years or so posting on a popular Star Trek forum before getting tired of their overly strict policies, but during that time I still popped in here every so often to see what was up in the world of Tex Murphy. The exciting news over the last little bit has had me coming in here far more often, though.

The Tex Murphy games are still amongst my favourites and I never get tired of them, unlike some other games I own. I don't play them as often as I used to, but that helps keep them fresh. I recently reviewed UAKM, Pandora, and Overseer on Gamespot which can be read from my profile: http://www.gamespot.com/users/poisonedp ... el;profile

Last Christmas I went to California for the first time with a friend, visiting San Diego, LA, and San Francisco. Loved the state (especially San Diego and San Francisco) and you can bet that when I visited Alcatraz and Coit Tower I thought of the Tex games.

So, I'm still around. I can't guarantee that I'm going to start posting a heck of a lot, but I saw this thread and figured I'd pop in.
Good to hear from ya bud! Keep sticking around, eh?

I sense something; a presence I've not felt since...

There's a name I didn't expect to just see pop up! Good to know you're still lurking around man! Last I heard you were indeed leaving for Uni. Some time ago wasn't it!

I can't say for sure when I last posted here with any regularity, but I went away to university in 2002. My last website update was September 2003, but I can't recall if I was still posting then.

Our old (young) friend Matthew. So good to hear from you, ol' buddy. Stop by a little more often, if time permits.

For some of the new ones here, Matt was an original pillar in this community and is very much beloved.

I don't think time should be much of a problem. I'm still in school, but I'm actually not in class very often, so I've got a lot of free time to devote to other things after I finish any necessary school work.

I'm anxious to see what happens with Three Cards to Midnight, so I'm certain I won't stop visiting any time soon.
Hi Matthew,

thought i drop by and say HEY!!! long time no see.:)
you are still in school to become Biology the last time I remembered?
I got my science degree in biology several years ago. I applied to veterinary college, but I unfortunately didn't get in. I've gone back to get a certificate in accounting. It's a lot different, but I'm enjoying it, and it will open up a whole bunch of new careers that a science degree just can't get me.
