It would make more sense to release a small number of copies with your first book, because you don't know how it is going to sell and you don't want to be stuck with boxes of unsold books... And then for your 2nd book, knowing how the 1st one sold, you would then release a greater number of copies... Which is the case with Pandora's number of copies verses UAKM's number of copies... UAKM is a hard book to obtain and can be pricey when found online... Whereas Pandora is usually less than 5 bucks...


I tell ya if this is indeed the release order, I feel like a sh;t for what I said regarding the books...
Regardless of the release order of the books, I still don't believe that poster is AC... And unless AC shows up under his original profile and says otherwise, I will stick to my belief that it is Not him...

If I remember correctly, and I could be wrong, the Pandora text was written at the same time they were working on creating the game, kind of as a road map. He fleshed it out to make it publishable, and UAKM was published later. That I know for sure.


As far as copies printed, Aaron had no control over that only the publishing company, Proteus imprint of Prima Publishing. Which BTW got it's plug pulled by it's parent company, and closed it down, leaving the rights to all the works in a mess. They probably printed so few of the later novels because PD was the only one that sold well, and Proteus probably wasn't pushing a big release or marketing of anything while it was at death's door.

After rereading everything and doing some digging, I've changed my decision. It's him, and if you want to bring out the torches and pitch forks be my guest.

well after I found the subject "hello friends of tex" from one of aaron's posts in the latest news section I also started to have my doubts.

I suppose James will have confirm this.

Well, they would be good news, of course, even if they would mean a new game is far from a reality for the moment (Aaron always said the book'd be the last option)

We just need an official word confirming the supposedly official news, or just denying them. (that sentence makes sense ¡?)

Anyway I can only hope ...

If a book is the last option i hope they make a radio theater out of it as well, to continue the one that is on the sight already. I have nothing against books (well as a Dyslexic i have ) but a Tex story without CJ's voice just isent enough.
