Google Chrome Vs. Firefox

I have different nits with all of them, but I probably use chrome for most things until I have to develop.

Well, thank you, thank you, thank you, for getting us back on track of the subject for this thread.

Not that it's important to keep on topic. . .

. . . not that we've never gone off topic before. . .

. . . . . .not that I'm bothered by open conversation or anything. Mind, never think that of me! I'm totally in favor of open conversation, or openness of any nature. . .

. . . . . . . . or. . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . . . .oh, nevermind. :)
Never too late for coffee, never too early for beer.

I'm hijacking the thread to say... HEY KECK! Good to see you, Keck, Rock, a bunch of the cool kids back.

We missed ya!
Pleasestay lol
Well, I HAVE to set the record straight for my dear friend Cub. Yes, you have been completely forgiven by TOG. Once I and everyone else learned it was a joke - and a darn good one - how could I hold a grudge?

But, my wife is still a bit suspect, her being the loving and protective mate that she is. Every once in a while she'll bring up the matter and I have to tell her to let it go. She just smiles and says, "OK." And it stays that way....till the next time.
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
Now I'm curious. What was the joke? I may have either forgotten it or arrived a bit too late to have caught it.

Unless it's one of those keep-it-buried things.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
If it's not I got shovel!

A long time ago I went to this website: http://www.pakin.org/complaint/ and generated a complaint letter as a gag, and used Jim's name for the recipient. I singled Jim out only because I knew he had a good sense of humour.

I then posted the letter on this forum. But to my utter stupidity I neglected to advise anyone it was a gag at first, and that the letter was not written by my hand, rather; randomly generated by this website.

Needless to say the letter's contents were very scathing and came across as very sincere (I had failed to read the contents of the letter before posting it, which was equally as stupid).

By the time I fessed up and came clean on the joke, not only had it greatly concerned Jim, but it had upset his wife who also read it. In fact, it went so far that the great AC came online just to tell everyone to calm down and I got a virtual smack on the bottom.

It was a perfect example of a joke gone wrong, and I am so relieved that Jim has forgiven me for it! But for your Mrs... well, I guess you're forgiveness is best I can do haha!

It turned out OK in the end and that is what counts. We all had a good laugh (once the dust settled).
