Do you mean offering a lesser difficulty with more hints? I found the puzzles in Black Dahlia tough with all those symbols and stuff, though I wouldn't say puzzles are my strength  Looking at reviews it seems others do mention the difficulty being tough so I guess it wasn't just me (though on the other hand of course some found it fine).

I think the Tex Murphy games did an awesome job with its hints and help system. I don't think I can remember a moment where I got really frustrated in being totally stuck. It also made me feel less bad about getting help with a puzzle since it was in the game itself.

Yes I've heard that people found the manipulation puzzles tough. A lower level could have reduced those. Other gameplay such as dragging the mouse down to move items could have been better explained. Other than those things the game doesn't stand out on difficulty.

FMV is the new three-letter f-word (or f-acronym)

James Bond or Dragon's Lair for Amiga - now THOSE were painful. Why did we put ourselves through the pain??

Man, it would be really cool if we could get George Takei to post something about Tex on his FB and Twitter accts. We'd have to do some funny Tex/Sulu image. His stuff gets shared ALL OVER, and could really generate some traffic.

I follow Sulu too, he is popular. However, he's also a cool guy and I don't want to pester someone that cool.

It's so great. It's even greater than I thought it would be. Even if the project doesn't get funded... at least we got to see the video.

We don't really have a place to put screenshots yet!

Y'know, CJ has gotten less handsome and more cute with age. Can't explain it.

Gaming Sites info:

I wonder who the best person at IGN to send a polite email to?
http://www.ign.com/staff.html
I'm thinking go straight to the top.

Also, here is a new thread on Gamespot: (Please go contribute!)
http://www.gamespot.com/forums/topic/29 ... ect-fedora

And I assume we'd email the "PR Contact" on this page:
http://www.gamespot.com/misc/aboutus.html

Is anyone a member of this site who can post news about Tex?

I think he needs less 11 o'clock shadow, and more of a 5 o'clock.

I've transcribed the subtitles of the KS campaign video and re-uploaded it to Youtube. There are a few points where I couldn't understand clearly what has been said in the video, so I just completed the phrase with what seemed to make more sense.

I thought this would be a good idea in order to make the KS campaign accessible for non-English speakers that can read texts in English but can't understand spoken English very well (this was the case with me back when I was a teenager and played Pandora Directive; the English subtitles helped a lot). Not to mention people with some sort of hearing impairment.

I have also translated the subtitles into Brazilian Portuguese (my native language) so PtBR speakers can also contribute :)

If you guys spot the errors in my transcription I will be more than happy to fix them.
