NSFV Episode 3 is LIVE
Thoroughly enjoyable, Cub. Great reference to Mick Flemm, AC, Tex, and some other dewd, or, dude, named James Dusing. Big thanks for that one, old friend. Oh, and the fact that I look so young and handsome has to do with all that new age Geritol they're going to invent in a couple of years.
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
I'm ashamed to admit I didn't recognize who played the part of Jim the first time I saw the video. It took me a second viewing to realize it.
A lot of information flooding the screen at once! Also, Tesla. And now Cayce.
I smell a bonzer plot!

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I hope you'll welcome some constructive feedback from me.
I don't know if that Episode was actually 2 combined news segments, but there's something to point out. Tesla died on January 7th 1943 and the reporter said it happened 100 years ago around the same week seemingly locking in a date. The possible problem is you have Tex's speeder fire in the clip, which happens after Pandora, which happened in April of 2043. You could say the Breaking News is part of a new segment however.
I also just noticed the bottom small text scrolling. There's a cameo in there about James Lemosy's Drendel. To learn about Drendel go to http://www.polishedscrawl.com. I'm going to have to check the previous videos for scrolling text now. So you got more replayability from me.
If you're doing another video my suggestion would be to have the product in Fred's Kickstarter worked into the scrolling text. Nice message board cameos! I don't know who played Jim btw.

Hey, we all know the news media doesn't get their facts straight 100% of the time anyway – especially during Breaking News!Cubase wrote:Thanks for the replies guys! Glad you liked the little salutes in the video too!
Oh, and on the Mick Flemm Mutant / Norm debate... the breaking news update was written by Aaron, so if you have any issues, he's the man to ask! If you dare!

"Of course we've got leads, ya putz! We know he's a norm, caucasian, and has AB negative blood!"

I may expose my own ignorance in a humiliating way, but I'd like to know how Cub down in Oz found the guy who played Mick Flemm (Jay Richards) for the purpose of this video. Was it him or just a lookalike? Either way, good job
edit: Or wait...we're these pictures from the game itself? He seems older, and the resolution seems too high, plus I don't remember these exact shots, but I could be wrong!

To quote the Beatles.... Cub got a little help from his friends! I think the Utah guys gave him what he needed for his vid.Jerry Dan wrote:I may expose my own ignorance in a humiliating way, but I'd like to know how Cub down in Oz found the guy who played Mick Flemm (Jay Richards) for the purpose of this video. Although for Episode 1, the guy who played Percival in the photograph was actually a random I encountered in the street when heading to a location to shoot one of the scenes. So I asked if he would not mind being photographed for the video and he said it was cool.
I didn't tell him that he would be playing a guy who was responsible for the attempted murder of 10 billion people. Although, he has probably seen the video by now and put 2-and-2 together, LOL!

Really? I thought it was some actor's photoshoot you snatched online. The guy looks badass!Although for Episode 1, the guy who played Percival in the photograph was actually a random I encountered in the street when heading to a location to shoot one of the scenes.
