I'm saddened as usual that the C64 SID chip gets ignored when a project mentions chiptunes

Well, if you like the SID-chip, there's always Machinae Supremacy, a SID-chip metal band out of Sweden.
They've got some sweet tunes. My favorites are Multiball and Through the Looking Glass.

As a seemingly fellow fan of metal - industrial crossover, I would tend to agree; however, the original IMO stands as one of the best metal albums yet, whereas Remanufacture somewhat diluted that.
