Wow that update was effective, in the time it took me to post it went up another $1000! and I agree with Sai but not sure how they get that on the KS page or what to pick? Maybe they can put up links to Byjman Tex pentathlon or youtube vids?

Yeah there's Bjyman's current marathon, I suggested they could mention it in an Update. But for something more permanent on the page I suggested they could rip clips from Youtube (there are plugins you can use to grab video from there to edit) or have others send in clips.
And then once they have the clips have the community here record a bit of audio on what aspects of the gameplay they liked (freedom in roaming, interacting with everything, dialogue choices, funny monologue descriptions, the variety in puzzles, hint system etc. etc.)
Then compile it together like in James' testimonial.

For talking about how gameplay or controls will be expanded or updated in the new game I suggested they could simulate the effect of roaming around the updated graphics environment by panning a camera around the ready-made pitch video renders of Chandler or Tex's Office (no engine or programmed gameplay required). With an audio clip of Chris talking about enhancements.

I did get a responce but that was awhile back, hope they will have something up in the last week. I got the impression maybe they thought I was talking about gameplay in a new engine though. At the time there were a number of people talking about showing gameplay in the Kickstarter comments so perhaps others had been suggesting new engine gameplay and it was mixed up in the bunch

We do plan on posting a gameplay video soon enough, we have to have some gameplay before we can do that though! I've passed your message on to our Kickstarter team, hopefully they can incorporate some of your ideas into the update! Thanks for the continued ideas!

finally the jerk has gone

I remember years ago when I ran a small tex website, 'the ritz hotel' if anyone remembers it, and how much fun I got from having an association with these games and the people that worked at access, and the tex community. Pretty stoked that tex is coming back, and that we all can have a part in making that happen.

I loved the ritz hotel, was sad to see it go

Unfortunately, real World stuff got in the way of keeping it updated and as tex news slowed down I drifted from the community. I've still got all the original files sitting around on my hard drive though. Could never bring myself to delete them.
