If it's a launch party next year, we might be able to make it... not sure.

Nice pics redcat. The background of the first one almost looks like the start of an England flag :)
Whats that building behind you guys in the other pics?

That is La Caille, a really posh French restaurant. It is located in the Sandy area in the SL Valley. The grounds are in a fairly secluded gully.

For those fortunate enough to check it out I understand it is quite an elegant experience.
It also has a curious history that locals know about but does not really matter for those visiting.
Many students that are studying French in HS often get an opportunity to dine there.

Jen and Rockerfeller are awesome folks, highly recommend getting to know them in person if the opportunity arises.

We had a pleasant chat about a smidge of this and that, clearly Tex was a touchstone along with the tasty gelato we indulged.

I was pleased as a kitten in a mitten to discover that Jen was able to do some serious exploring around SLC. Even though fall leaves are rather brief here, especially in the mountains since we are a desert, there is still plenty of lovely country to explore nearby.

Those who came to visit were rather lucky weather wise, normally we are fairly snowy about this time. Currently, even though the day before it was a pleasant 70 degrees, it is now in the 30s with plenty of snow to shovel and slide on whilst driving.

It is lovely, apart from maintenance and the fool hardy morons that believe their personal assault vehicles make them impervious to the laws of physics.

Anyhow for those that want to have a meetup in SLC in the future please feel free to contact me to do so or simply for some advice. :)

Best Regards
KvE

It was one of the best birthday's I've ever had, hands down. The company was wonderful, the food amazing, and the grounds, breath-taking. Plus to know that Aaron, Kevin, Chris, Adrian, Michael York, along with us crazy UTM'ers shared the same space across different times, made me thoughtful and grateful.

What a world!!!
