I've heard women say the same thing about men - and already we can grow new life from just eggs. so it's the men that need to watch out.

Perhaps it's late in the discussion that never meant to be, but here's my two cents.

If women were removed due to lack of fertility, who would cook and clean?

I kid! I kid! Jen, please! You don't have to take out the knife!

Also, if there were no women, movies would revert to how they did back in Shakespeare's time, with men playing women's roles. I don't want to see Harrison Ford IN Sabrina, I don't want to see Harrison Ford AS Sabrina.

Also, Komodo dragons are kind of boring. They're not even dragons. Have you ever seen a Komodo dragon flying around, huffing and puffing fire from it's twin nostrils, searching for a thatched roof cottage to burn down? I think not! The crack spider's bitch is where it's at (call Canadian Wildlife Preserve).

Yeah it *is* creepy isn't it? I swear, his avatar looks like it'd rob me in an alley for some "pantera" tickets back in the day. But Cartman would so bring the authouritah... and arrest him for breakin the law.

I still to this day think that whole spider video is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. At first you think it's a honest to god legit science experiment. Then all of a sudden ... And it doesn't even register to me until about the crack spider part, either. I'm a gulliable sort, and I'm all like "Yeah it makes sense that spider on pot would do that ... wow, amazing" ... Big laughs at the end.

Yeah I was totally duped by that video at first too... I was like "wow, it really does affect other species"... and then I am like "wait a minute!".

I think everybody at first fell for that movie. I also had this "Wait a minute" experience.

It's all in the voice he presents it in... Sounds just like a typical old school nature documentary narrator. Down to the nuances of punctuation.

I am stunned Malloy. Stunned. You made it all the way to the crackspider part of the film before getting the joke? The restraining order didn't tip you off? :D

I'll post a pic of myself in my jeans and t-shirt and you'll see what a spitting image my avatar truly is of me. It's so alike me I'm actually surprised myself. Really.

(PS: how do I post pics on this forum?)

Oh crap. I forgot, this was supposed to be my masterpiece. So here it is ...

.... great. I just got off work, responded to a post without looking at my post count, edited it ... and I have nothing to say. I RUINED IT! Well now I have to build up to my 401st post.

Not only is the idea absolutely preposterous, but it was mentioned only in jest by the very gender who proposed the thought.

extermination or enslavement ? Not really an agenda that history has shown women to have.

I have never to my knowledge man-bashed on this board. Nor do I wish too. I single-handedly raised a wonderfully caring and thoughtful son, and have relationships with men that I deeply treasure to this VERY day.

HOWEVER, I will always defend women-kind, and the battles they fought and overcame for the rights that I currently possess. Anyone well informed in the cultures of the world and history knows much about what I'm talking about. But I'm not posting to discuss cultural studies, or any sort of discrimination through the ages.

I'm posting about YOU, Dr.Paul. And the fact that I am sick and tired of your bullying attitude towards me, and your off handed comments that I feel are incredibly hurtful.

"If it weren't for sex, there'd be a bounty on 'em."

Although we each undoubtably know some cold-blooded woman who qualifies as a reptile, most women are too sophisticated for this primative form of reproduction.
The ones that do, you don't want anything to do with, anyway.

And if you don't think that women's role in the birth process has anything to do with how men treat women, well....I won't say it."

I think if women lost their fertility or if technology could take over their role.....
This last comment smacks dangerously close to your fembot discussion. Whether you agree to these thoughts or no, (and I know where my opinion on this matter lies) these words were put to writ by YOU, in a forum where everyone else can read them.

I know absolutely that you will want to post ...What? Me? You will deny saying anything wrong, or bring up free speech, censorship or any number of arguments that you can think of to justify your hurtful behavior.

I'm really fed up in the manner of which you treat me.
I care about this board, and treasure the relationships I've gleaned from this community more than you will ever know. And I've backed up my affections with private and public words and actions.

But I won't be private a moment more about you baiting me, and your often unrespectful comments towards women.

I am a part of this board, and I will not continue to be made to feel unwelcome by you. Keep your negative comments about women to yourself or on a forum more appropriate.
Jennifer, did I posted something against you?
