How about Tex and Tanya "Wow Wow" Roberts kissing? Is it getting warmer in here or is it just me?

I hate this scene, JimTOG. I dislike Tanya Roberts. I never choose "PROMISE" option. "REFUSE" only! Regan Madsen was traitor. She thoght, that she so smart, so sly, that she could trick anyone. Yes, Regan can trick anyone. Almost. Exept ME! Alex Bark cracked her instantly. Regan tried to use me, but I knew that. I allowed her to "play" me like puppet. Until last moment. Then she died. Regan got NOTHING.

You are right, Alex. Regan was a traitor, sly, smart and would try to trick anyone just to get her way. And I would like to go on record here by stating that she can trick me anytime she wants!!! In fact, she's done it several times over the years.

I second Jim in regard of Regan's hotness factor. YOWZA!!

As for my favorite scenes:

UAKM:
- Sylvia meets Rudy -- How many games proposes a long cutscene that doesn't advance the main story in any way? Genious.
- Franco Spinoza's performance -- Another exemple of the above. Always cracks me up.
- Tex meets Ferrell Pus -- Great repartee from Tex.

PD:
- The whole intro -- WOW!! What a leap forward from Killing Moon. I believe this is my favorite intro movie from any game.
- Tex meets Lucia Pernell -- The best exposition scene ever filmed in my opinion (no matter the media).
- Tex fights the Black Arrow Killer -- My favorite moment of the game.

TMO:
- Tex at the mystery address -- Gotta confess they made me jump three feet high here.
- J. Saint Gideon's speech -- Michael York's goodness. Great writing too.
- The end movie -- Wrap everything up and spin your audience's imagination wild.

Good choices, Val. I also like the scene when Tex enters the spacecraft and GF looks at him with a mysterious eye and says: "Who are you, Tex?" I thought that was a great moment and remark, considering the source (half-human, half-alien).

Hey Alex! How old are you? You may be too young to remember Tanya's revealing scene in "The Beastmaster". Ahhh! There are certain parts of my memory that never fail.

Hello JimTOG!
I am 27 age of old. And you misunderstood me: I have NOTHING against Tanya Roberts. She is nice. I am against Regan Madsen. I hate traitors and cheaters. Do you like them? I repeat myself: I cracked Regan instantly. She was talking VERY strangely and suspiciosly. Did you notice that? Don't get me wrong, JimTOG.

I have to agree, Gideon's monologue was amazing... I once did that monologue for drama! It was trully amazing writing and acting at its best.

*Gideon wheels himself from the shadows revelaing his piercing stare towards Tex*

"...Now you listen to me, if you expect to stride through life arms ladened with hope you will only meet with one dissapointment after another..."

Amazing!

-Cub. =o)

P.S. Did I say 'Amazing!' ?

UAKM:

1. The basketball scene, where Tex misses, and splatters all over the wall (completelly and utterlly useless, yet absolutly hilarious. i doubt any computer game will ever be made in that style again)

2. Tex playing piano (priceless!!! "Hot and cold..... ;-)

3. Conversation with Eddie Ching (especially when you play dumb pretending you don't realize that "Eddie" is a the chinese girl in front of you)
Actually most of the scenes when Tex plays dumb for that matter :)

4. The scene when Tex meet Pus (right at the beginning when you tell him what do you smell when you came in the room)

5. The end! (goddamn Colonel! why does he gets the girls and "I" get the fat lady dancing lessons :-) I never figured out why Tex refuses to go into business with Colonel???? Anyone knows?
It makes more sense in the book though, since he actually DIES in the book.

PD:

1. Intro is super cool. the whole game is a notch more serious then UKAM

2. BK fight ending with Emily death ( I don't think even Tex would have made in time to save her)

3. Archie getting killed by the psychotic NSA officer ( this is a dark scene, but really well made )

4. converstion with our good ol friend the Chochaholic / Bum (remember the line "the cheese factory is on fire")

Overseer:

1. The intro
2. The convertion with the big fat lady (what's her name now?)
3. Fight with the australian
4. Chess match introduction by Gideon (the music sets the atmosphere beautifully)

Her name was Delores Lightbody (yes, the same DL Tex danced with at the UAKM conclusion) and was played perfectly by Micaela Nelligan. Her part in the game was incredible.
"I've always had a certain fascination with private dicks."
What a great line!
"I'm sorry Delores, but you and I? We're never gonna get it on."
(Tex)
"Say what you will. Your hungry eyes tell a different story."
Unbelivably terrific!
