Hope that helps

That's the beauty of a game like Morrowind though. I don't really have any desire to do the main quest at the moment. It's fun enough going through the ranks of the theives guild."Thievs Guild" and "Blades" are enemies in "Morrowind". You may have the problems completing the Main Quest, Atomicvegetable.
I'll take that as a complimentAtomicvegetable! You speak like... russian!
Atomicvegetable, better join the "Fighters Guild" and "Emperial Legion". They are allies and you could complete more challenging quests. More experience, more advantages, fight training, best weapon and armor, etc.
But if you choose criminal way permanently, don't stop at "Thievs Guild", join the "Morag Tong" (Assasin Guild).
But if you'll decide to play "Tribunal" ("Morrowind"'s add-on), I must warn you: the members of "The Dark Brotherhood" ("The Dark Brotherhood" is the assasin guild in "TES2:Daggerfall") will attack you. "The Dark Brotherhood" and "Morag Tong" are hated enemies. The "dark brothers" are formidable opponents. Be on-guard.

Well i'm not going to join the Fighters Guild since they're the puppets of the Camorra Tong, who are the enemies of the thieves guild.
I was thinking of joining the Morag Tong when i'm finished with theiving.
And i've met the Dark Brotherhood. They've been attacking me everytime i stay overnight at an inn. I've found it a lot safer to just break into someone's house and use their bed.

I am reading the Official Strategy Guide... Well, "Fighters Guild"...
FACTION REACTION:
HATED ENEMY: None
ENEMY: Ashlanders, Clan Aundae, Clan Berne, Clan Quarra.
HOSTILE: Temple, Cammona Tong (hostile!).
FRIENDLY: Mages Guild, Imperial Cult, House Hlaalu, House Redoran.
ALLY: Imperial Legion.
BELOVED ALLY: None.
"Cammona Tong" is hostile to "Fighters Guild", Atomicvegetable.
About "breaking into someone's house and use their bed"... Don't do that. Why?
First: It's illegal. Don't spoil your reputation.
Second: Don't hide from "dark brothers". It's cowardly! Draw your sword and waste them all! No pain, no gain! And fighting is a good source of experience. Your combat skills will increase. Fight as often as possible. With everybody, who attacking you. If you want to win in "Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon", you must become a TERMINATOR, you must equip yourself with best weapon and armor (daedric), better with magical effects, equip yourself with magical artifacts.
Then you can defeat your main enemy: Dagoth Ur.
I wish you luck, Atomicvegetable!

It's only illegal to break into someone's house if you get caught. I don't.
And i do fight the dark brotherhood when they attack me. I wouldn't be a good theif if i couldn't defend myself. I just choose not to put myself in those situations.
The great thing about games like Morrowind is there are so many different ways to play them.

All right, Atomicvegetable, maybe it's not illegal, but not good. You should respect private property.
Thief can't be good. "Thievery" is a sin. And I'll repeat myself: PUT yourself in those situations. More fights, more experience.
Yes, you right: there many different ways to play "Morrowind", but if you want to win a game, you must join to "Blades", complete their quests and, finally, defeat Dagoth Ur. It won't be easy, Atomicvegetable. Dagoth Ur is much stronger then "dark brothers".

Well yes, theivery is a sin in real life. This is a game. I like doing things in games i would not do in real life.
And we'll see if i even get around to the main part of the game. At the moment i'm having fun with the theives guild and after that, i'll probably join the Morag Tong.
As for combat, i have both short blade and light armour as major skills and i have been levelling them up along with everything else (due to the nice cash i make as a theif). I can handle myself in a fight pretty damn well. Also, all that agility means i rarely get hit.
As i said, lot's of ways to play the game.

Atomicvegetable, now, I have understood: you are serious player, not an amateur. For the last time, I advice you: buy "Morrowind Prophecies. Game of the Year Edition." book or check the site, that I mentioned before. This book is not just common walkthrough. It (book) contains ALL secrets of "Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon". Without book, you'll miss a LOT, no a HUGE of fun. If you are serious player, you must obtain a PERFECT victory. But enough about that. I think, I annoyed you with my advises.
Now, if you don't mind, some questions about your play in "Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon".
Tell me about yourself. No, not in the real life, but in the game.
Your name? Race? Class? Birthsign? Your rank in "Thievs Guild"? Do you have the magic abbilities? Which organizations do you want to join, except "Morag Tong"? Are you going to join the "Blades" and complete the Main Quest? Did you meet the Vampires or Daedras? Did you fight with them? Do you want to be a Vampire? If you'll become a Vampire, you'll have some advantages and disadvantages.
Are you going to continue your game, when you'll finish "Morrowind"? Play "Tribunal", travel to Mournhold (an ancient capital of Morrowind Province) and complete new quests (you can eliminate "The Dark Brotherhood" once and for all)?
How about "Bloodmoon"? Travel to Solstheim Island, complete new quests?
In "Bloodmoon", you can become a Werewolf. Like Vampire, Werewolf has advantages and disadvantages.
And final an main question: are you good guy or bad guy in the game?
That's all. I hope, I didn't annoy you with my curiosity.

No annoyances at all Alex. I've enjoyed talking with you about the game so far.
I have the Game of the Year addition with Tribunal and Bloodmoon.
As for the details of my character...
Name: Dave (not the most original name i know, but it's who i am)
Race: Kajhit
Birthsign: The Lady
At the moment i am a Captain in the Thieves guild. I've just started the Bal Molagmer quests for Big Jim Stacey in Vivee.
After the Thieves guild, i will be joining the Morag Tong. After that, if i'm still interested in the game, i'll start the Blades quest. (nothing against the game. I have ADD and my interest in games can waver easily).
I don't think i'd like to become a Vampire, but i haven't encountered any yet. I haven't met the Daedras yet either.
I think i would like to eliminate the Dark Brotherhood. I'm tired of killing their assassins when they wake me up. I'd like to put a stop to it.
Am i a good guy or a bad guy? Even though i am a thief and i steal from people, i'm a noble thief. I try not to kill people unless they pose a serious threat to me. Even then, i try to knock them unconcious with my fists and then leave.
I can see this attitude may become a concern with the Morag Tong. I guess i'll just have to see whether i think the people they want me to kill deserve it or not.
If you wish to know anything else, just ask
