Yep, so 90s. Style in the 90s wasn't as bad as the 80s, but the 90s had its own unique flavor of bad. You can see some of it in the decor choices in the games, but not too often, thank goodness, since it's mostly noir style. The X-Files and aliens craze of the mid-late 90s really shows in Pandora, though. Happy memories
As for Regan's socks, I don't know what her problem is. She's Regan.
Back on topic, Tex ads ought to feature Tex. He's all the sexy you need.
Also, changing topic title again. It's back to the web again.

Thanks for the pics.
Wasn't there and ending in Pandora Directive with Chelsee and a whip? lol. I never got that one so no idea what it looked like.
I'll ask Demonlawyer as I remember they mentioned they have screens from every scene from pandora Directive and Overseer here:

Wow, is Regan serious with those socks??

Hey, even manipulative temptresses get chilly feet.

Sai, thanks for the PM, the last few days have been busy. I've sent you the link to the files and you should hopefully find more than enough screen shots. Anyone else wanting them, the links are here:-

Here is the 2nd Facebook ad edited to the right dimensions, extended the top a bit and added the moon with a red tint from the flyer I made to fill the gap:
And here's the female ads. There were some other pics I could of used but don't want people mistaking the Tex Murphy series for porn
Chelsee (Could be a good choice since she will be in the next game)
Capricorn Representative Wanda Peck (She has a very striking appearance I think)
Regan (Nice antagonistic duality, if thats a term)
Sylvia (Meh, surprisingly couldn't find many good ones that weren't overly "smarmy" looking)
I have a couple of favourites amongst these but interested to hear what others think.

Thanks for the re-sized photo for the 1st ad. I just updated it. It will start showing on Friday!
And a HUGE thank you for creating these pics, Sai!! I like the first one with Chelsee. I wonder how the blue background from the Sylvia one would look behind that one? Could you possibly post that? I also like the 1st Wanda Peck one, as she is quite pretty. Chelsee looks pretty darn good in the 2nd one also, but I'm undecided on the Tex part of the photo. It is cute how they are sort of looking at each other. Ugh, I can't decide! Maybe the smarmy Tex (w/Sylvia) with the 2nd Chelsee? What does everyone else think will garner the most attention on FB?
I think I'm going to do a small campaign on Google too, but their advertising was a bit more convoluted than Facebook. I'll have to call them to finalize that one.

You're welcome. I like the Chelsee ones too since she'd be most likely to be in a new game. The 2nd one I like because though I got the pics from separate scenes they fit together quite well as a cute couple. Though I know we were going for more "sexy" so the first Chelsee one is maybe more mature. I think the most captivating though from a purely visual stance without other consideration would be the 1st Wanda Peck one though. It looks like something you'd see on a movie poster I think. Tough decision. Yeah I'm curious as to what others think.
Here's the requested edits for comparison:
1st Image with blue background, it does make them stand out a bit better:
2nd Chelsee with other Tex images, I think they look a bit big compared to the Chelsee image however, a bit like a large overbearing stalker Tex staring at her (maybe thats kind of accurate though lol):

Oh and about the Google thing. That'd be cool if doable. I do plan on doing some website banner ads sometime for my own sites. The dimensions should be usable for Google Adsense too I think.

Ooo, I like the blue background (maybe we'll even entice some Stargate fans - lol.) And I like the smarmy Tex & Chelsee! Maybe I'll split my budget between two ad's, so I can use these both of these photos. The 2nd Red background Chelsee/Tex is nice too. These will look great on the ad! I agree that since Chelsee is most likely to be in the next one, she should be featured. Thanks Sai!

So, I'm going to do 2 Pre-Kickstarter ads linking to texmurphy.com, and 2 "during" Kickstarter Ads that link to the Kickstarter page. Here's what I've got below. Thanks again to Sai for creating some great pics to work with. Hopefully they'll be seen & clicked!
P.S. The texmurphy.com does show below each Ad title (like on the 2nd one down), just not in the screenshots I captured. And the kickstarter one will show once I have that URL to input.
If you have any clever text instead of what I thought of, feel free to post some suggestions. (90 character limit.)
PRE-KICKSTARTER Ad's 5/4 - 5/14:
DURING KICKSTARTER Ad's 5/15 - 5/31:

Having lady images around is a good idea, but don't mention Chelsee by name. As cool as she is, it'll just confuse people.
I like these two the most:
If we pool our money or buy more ads as separate people, can we increase the frequency of these ads? Does it work that way?
How about a tiny UAKM box? That would bring back memories...

If you want another person to help split the costs, I'm in.

Yeah, mentioning Chelsee might confuse folks. This video helped me understand a bit about advertising on Facebook.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJLBWrvx ... re=related I decided on CPM to get the most exposure. And I bid fairly high so that my ad is more likely to be shown. This is a whole new thing for me, so I'm just winging it! I'll keep track of how the analytics look when the first one starts, and I'll adjust accordingly.
The Ads are related directly to your Facebook account, and credit card info - so not sure pulling money would work very easily. But other people are welcome to take out some ads on their own!

I guess I could do a Paypal thing if others wanted to contribute additional funds. I had capped my budget at $150. (Originally, I only wanted to spend $100 :-O) Afterall, I do want to save
most of my cash for the Kickstarter campaign. But if we don't get the word out there to others what I'm saving for the campaign might not matter.
Here are a few more options. The first two crack me up.

I bet Joliet_Jane will like those. As some of us ladies know, Tex is a handsome fella.
